“We See You, We Appreciate You”: Isidore Celebrates Teachers

There are moments in a school community when words seem too small to express the gratitude felt in every heart. At Isidore de Seville Integrated School, one such day unfolded in an atmosphere filled with joy, appreciation, and heartfelt celebration as the Isidorean community came together to honor the people who make every learning experience more meaningful.

Led by the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG), together with its adviser, Teacher Christy Rose Umali, the celebration brought together learners from preschool to grade school in a touching tribute to the educators and school personnel who guide, inspire, encourage, and support them each day.
The young learners became the heart of the celebration. Through warm greetings, lively dances, and heartfelt songs, they expressed their appreciation for the teachers who patiently walk with them through every lesson, challenge, discovery, and achievement. Their performances were more than presentations; they were simple yet meaningful expressions of love and gratitude from learners to the people who help shape their young lives.

Adding warmth and significance to the occasion, Mommy Jonah Trinidad, President of the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA), together with Mommy Heidie Qutuea, represented the school’s parent-partners and shared a sincere message of appreciation for the teaching community.

One message, in particular, resonated deeply throughout the celebration:
“We see you. We appreciate you.”

These simple but powerful words captured the spirit of the occasion. Behind every classroom lesson are teachers who prepare, teach, listen, encourage, and give their best even when no one is watching. Behind every successful school day are administrative personnel who work quietly and faithfully to ensure that the school community continues to move forward.

The message of appreciation was warmly received by Teacher Ann Bartolome, School Administrator; Teacher Archie Gaspar, School Principal; and the entire Isidore teaching community, who shared in the joy of a celebration dedicated to their service and commitment.

Yet, beyond the dances, songs, greetings, and messages, Teachers’ Day served as a deeper reminder of the countless acts of dedication that happen every day.

It is found in every lesson carefully prepared, every encouraging word spoken to every learner, every extra mile taken to help a child succeed, and every quiet sacrifice made in the name of education.

Teaching is more than a profession. It is a calling to nurture young minds, build confidence, inspire dreams, and help learners discover the people they are capable of becoming. In the same way, every member of the school’s administrative team plays an important role in creating an environment where learners and educators become the best versions of themselves everyday.

For the Isidorean community, Teachers’ Day was therefore not simply a celebration, but it was a collective expression of gratitude.

Happy Teachers’ Day!
