Faculty Enhance Robotics Skills Ahead of School Year 2026-2027

In preparation for School Year 2026-2027, the faculty members of Isidore de Seville Integrated School participated in a three-day Robotics Refresher Training held from June 1 to 3, 2026.

The training aimed to strengthen the teachers’ knowledge and skills in robotics education, equipping them to effectively guide learners in developing critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills through hands-on technology-based learning.

During the training, the faculty engaged in discussions and practical activities involving the LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 and SPIKE Prime robotics kits. WeDo 2.0 is designed to introduce learners to basic coding, engineering, and scientific concepts through simple motorized models and drag-and-drop programming. Meanwhile, SPIKE Prime is a more advanced robotics platform that combines coding, engineering design, and computational thinking, enabling learners to build and program interactive robots and automated systems.

Sessions were facilitated by Mr. Mark Anthony A. Lim and Mr. Jovin N. Cinco, instructors from Felta Multimedia Inc., Isidore’s partner in robotics education. Through a series of challenges and collaborative tasks, the teachers applied their learning by designing, building, and programming their own robots.

The certificates of participation were presented by Teacher Princess M. Bernardo, Administrative Assistant, on behalf of Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, School Principal. The awarding ceremony was also attended by Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome, School Administrator, and Sir Jeoffrey Reinhart Teodoro, Robotics Coordinator.

The Isidore faculty is fully prepared to confidently deliver robotics instruction to Isidoreans in SY 2026-2027.
