Four Isidoreans have once again proven that excellence knows no borders, earning international recognition at the Global English Language Olympiad of Southeast Asia (GELOSEA) International Round held in Singapore from April 5 to 8, 2026.

In the Primary 6 division, Chloe J. Gaspar claimed a Bronze Medal, while Ziv Marcus Delos Reyes, Ada Jiahnna Sacdalan, and Dannel Jacob Vialu each achieved Silver Medals. Notably, no Gold or Diamond Medals were awarded in this category, elevating the Silver Medal as the highest honor presented during the awarding ceremony on April 7 at D’Marquee, Singapore.

On April 4, the Isidore English Champions flew to Singapore, accompanied by Mommy Donabel G. Vialu, Mommy Maui Delos Reyes, and Mommy Joahnna Sacdalan. Their tireless support, encouragement, and hands-on care kept the learners motivated throughout their journey in Singapore. From the national round through intensive preparations and training, Teacher-Coach Brenelli S. Francisco guided the team, strengthening their skills and building their confidence. The School Administrator Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome and the Chief Executive Officer Sir Jose Ronello T. Bartolome also provided strong and valuable leadership and support, ensuring the learners, as well as Teacher Bren were fully prepared to excel on the international stage.

Although the School Principal Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar could not join the trip in person, her influential leadership, guidance, and encouragement were deeply felt and played a vital role in the team’s victory. The same support was shared by the learners’ fathers, Daddy Reniel Roy Gaspar, Daddy Edgar Vialu, Daddy Arnaldo Sacdalan, and Daddy Joshua Philip Delos Reyes, whose presence was equally meaningful despite the distance.

The delegation checked in on April 5 at D’Resort in Pasir Ris, Downtown East, the official residence of this year’s GELOSEA, where they had the final coaching session with Teacher Bren before heading to the competition venue for orientation and the examination proper. That evening, they joined the Welcome Dinner, connecting with fellow delegates from across Southeast Asia, enjoying a traditional Lion Dance performance, and exchanging cultural souvenirs. 

On April 6, the participants experienced Singapore beyond the competition through a city tour that included visits to Gardens by the Bay, Universal Studios, Sentosa, and the spectacular Wings of Time Fireworks and Symphony show, broadening their cultural perspective and creating unforgettable memories.

Representing Team Philippines, the Isidoreans brought home four medals, sealing a proud achievement for their families, Isidore, the city, and the nation. 

This journey was also made possible through the collective support of the entire Isidore community, who purchased jackets and t-shirts as part of the fundraising initiatives for the delegates, as well as the backing of Malolos City officials, particularly Mayor Atty. Christian D. Natividad, Vice Mayor Engr. Gilbert T. Gatchalian, Representative Danilo A. Domingo, and members of the City Council, who provided financial support to aid some of the competition-related expenses.

As Isidore nurtures learners for global success, these young achievers demonstrate the power of determination, preparation, and support on the world stage.

One of Isidore’s valued parent-partners, Mommy Joana Kimberlyn Lucas, generously donated three sets of two-way radios and two boxes of long bond paper to the school on March 30, 2026.

Mommy Kimberlyn is the mother of Briana Ashley L. Dionisio of Grade 6-Babbage, one of this year’s graduating learners. With a sincere desire to support the school community, she willingly extended her help through these meaningful contributions.

The items were formally received by Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome, School Administrator; Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, School Principal; Mr. Romeo Luciano Jr., Technical Staff; and Ms. Jesusa B. De Gala, Accounting Officer.

Briana personally turned over the donations on behalf of her mother, making the moment even more special. Mommy Kimberlyn shared that Briana was truly delighted to take part in the donation, as Isidore has been a significant part of her childhood, a place she has grown to love deeply.

The Motorola C51 handheld two-way radios, designed for both indoor and outdoor use, will serve as a valuable tool in enhancing communication among school personnel. Meanwhile, the long bond paper will greatly support the printing of essential documents for daily school operations.

Isidore extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mommy Kimberlyn and Briana for their generosity and continued support. Their kindness stands as an inspiration to the entire school community, beautifully reflecting the spirit of partnership.

In a meaningful gesture of support for the school’s educational and health programs, the School Parent Teacher Association (SPTA) turned over two brand-new microphones and a medical-grade nebulizer on March 26, 2026. 

The turnover was led by SPTA President Ms. Donabel Vialu, who was joined by her husband, Mr. Edgar Vialu, and their daughter. Representing the school’s administration to receive the items were Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, School Principal, Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome, School Administrator, Teacher Rowena Castro, SPTA Secretary, and Mr. Romeo C. Luciano Jr., Technical Staff. 

Such initiatives are vital to the school’s operations. Isidore highly appreciates the SPTA’s proactive role as parent-partners, whose contributions directly benefit the learners and the entire community.

Isidore de Seville Integrated School successfully held a meaningful Purple Day celebration on March 26, 2026, in partnership with the Philippine League Against Epilepsy, Inc. (PLAE) and MedChoice Pharma Inc. The event gathered parent-partners, learners, faculty members, and non-teaching staff in a united effort to promote awareness and understanding of epilepsy.

The program opened with a warm welcome from School Principal, Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, who highlighted the importance of compassion, awareness, and breaking the stigma surrounding epilepsy. She also expressed her appreciation for the presence of medical professionals and the support of Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome, School Administrator, in making the event possible.

Dra. Madelyn Pascual, an esteemed pediatric neurologist and Internal Vice President of PLAE, served as the resource speaker for the session. She delivered an informative and engaging discussion on epilepsy, covering its causes, common misconceptions, various types of seizures, and appropriate ways to assist individuals experiencing seizures. Her talk provided valuable knowledge that empowered participants to respond with confidence and empathy.

She was joined by fellow advocates of epilepsy awareness: Dra. Mari Fay San Diego, a reputable neurologist and former President of the Philippine Neurological Association, and Dra. Maria Rowena Casi Cruz-Cruda, a respected pediatrician and child neurologist. Together, these distinguished doctors serve not only as champions of epilepsy awareness but also as inspirations, motivating others through their dedication, expertise, and commitment to compassionate care.

The event was further enlivened by special performances from Sir Rein, Teacher Nicole, Teacher Pat, and talented learners Cian Grae Acosta and Chloe J. Gaspar, who shared their musical talents with the audience.

Some of the storytellers of the R.E.A.D (Reach, Engage, Appreciate, Discover) Outreach Program, along with Teacher Mary, also presented a storytelling piece. 

As part of the program, a Certificate of Appreciation was awarded by Teacher Archie and Teacher Ann to recognize the PLAE. The latter then presented a Certificate of Recognition to the school for its active support in advancing epilepsy awareness.

Learners shared meaningful reflections from the seminar. Among them, Grade 6 learner Lexi Salonga emphasized the importance of promoting inclusivity and eliminating stigma toward individuals living with epilepsy.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of food packs for all attendees and special gifts for learners, generously provided by PLAE and MedChoice Pharma.

The school extends its sincere gratitude to Philippine League Against Epilepsy, Inc.,  MedChoice Pharma, and parent-partners for their partnership in championing epilepsy awareness and education.

Isidore de Seville Integrated School officially launched Isidoreans R.E.A.D. (Reach, Engage, Appreciate, Discover) this February as its newest community outreach initiative, bringing storytelling sessions to selected Day Care Centers in the City of Malolos, Bulacan.

The project was conceptualized during a planning meeting led by School Principal Dr. Arcelita Gaspar, CHRA, who called on the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) Adviser, Teacher Christy Rose Umali, to propose a meaningful outreach activity. While peer tutoring for Grade School learners was initially suggested, Marketing Officer Teacher Arlene Pagsanghan recommended beginning with Day Care pupils. Teacher Archie thought that through storytelling or puppetry, Isidoreans could lend a helping hand to young Day Care pupils. Considering the school’s ongoing academic and co-curricular commitments, the group agreed that storytelling would be a practical and impactful starting point. The proposal was subsequently approved by School Administrator, Teacher Ann Marie Bartolome.

To prepare for the outreach, SELG officers, together with select class and club officers, underwent a short training under the supervision of SELG adviser Teacher Rose and Teacher Arlene, with Teacher Archie as the learners’ trainer. The Isidore officers were guided on proper voice projection, clear articulation, and expressive delivery to effectively engage young listeners. Teacher Mary Caparas and Head Teacher Anri Crisostomo are the main readers.

During the scheduled visits, the Isidoreans read short stories and interacted with the children from the Day Care and they responded with enthusiasm, actively participating and listening attentively throughout the sessions.

“The children were very engaged and excited during the storytelling,” said Ma’am Cordella Ramos, a teacher from Maunlad, Mojon Day Care Center. “Activities like this help develop their listening skills and imagination.”

Ma’am Jane Valdez, a teacher from Mojon Day Care Center also expressed appreciation for the initiative. “We are grateful for this partnership. The storytelling session inspired the learners, and we hope to have more activities like this in the future,” the teacher shared.

Parents of the Day Care pupils likewise observed the positive impact of the activity. Mommy Karen Dolz, shared, “ My child eagerly listened to the story and showed increased interest in reading”. Another parent, Mommy Donnabelle Vialu, noted that “After seeing older students read to younger children, my child is encouraged to view reading as an enjoyable activity.” They described the Isidorean readers as good role models for the Day Care pupils.

The Isidoreans reflected on their experience as both challenging and rewarding. Calvin Gab Alegre, Secretary of Grade 5-Minsky admitted, “I was feeling nervous at first but gained confidence after seeing the children’s positive reactions.” Another reader, Chloe Gaspar, President of Literary Club said, “The activity helped us understand the importance of reading with expression and enthusiasm.” Reese Oona Pascual, President of Grade 5-Atanasoff described the outreach “This is a meaningful opportunity for us to serve the community beyond the classroom.”

The School Parent-Teachers Association (PTA) extended its support by being present in the visits and encouraging continued collaboration between the school and the Day Care Centers.

Through Isidoreans R.E.A.D., the school aims to promote literacy at an early age while fostering leadership and social responsibility among its learners. School officials expressed hope that the program will continue to expand and inspire more young readers in the community.

The Grade 6 learners held a two-day retreat in Tagaytay City on February 26-27, 2026, with the theme “Growing Together: Knowing Myself and Others.” The retreat aimed to help learners better understand themselves while strengthening their relationships with one another.

The program began with meaningful reflection activities such as “Stone, Leaf, Feather,” led by Teacher Marie Rose Villano, Guidance Coordinator, and “Stand If This Is You,” facilitated by Teacher Anri Crisostomo, Head Teacher, and Teacher Mikaellah Abundo, Intermediate Lead Teacher. Learners also explored integrity and courage through “Freeze Frame Drama,” guided by Teacher Angelica Almerol, Grade 6 Adviser. One of the relevant and heartfelt parts of the retreat was when the participants listened to an unfeigned talk on responsibility and independence by Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, the School Principal.

Also included in the activity were energizing exercises, team-building challenges, and fun Palarong Pinoy games.

The retreat was also attended by the School Administrator, Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome; Admin Assistant, Teacher Princess Bernardo; and Miss Dioana Camua, the School Nurse, whose presence and support contributed to the success of the event.

The retreat concluded with quiet reflection, leaving the learners with deeper self-understanding and stronger bonds, truly living out the theme of growing together.

On January 30, 2026, Isidore buzzed with innovation and excitement as learners participated in this year’s Robolympics, centered on the theme, “Where Curiosity Meets Technology: Inspiring the Next Generation of Thinkers.”

Isidoreans worked in teams to design, build, and code their own robots to complete a series of challenging tasks that tested their creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.
Guided by their coaches, each team applied principles of robotics, programming, and teamwork to deliver strategic and efficient solutions.

After a series of challenges, Team 2 was awarded as the overall champion, coached by Teacher Trisha and Teacher Jessica. Team 1 secured second place under the guidance of Teacher Ayo and Teacher Pat, while Team 4 placed third with coaches Teacher Leica and Teacher Elaine. Team 3 finished fourth, mentored by Teacher Em and Teacher Weng.

Serving as judges were Grade 6 learners Andrey Baltazar and Chloe J. Gaspar, both members of the Isidore Mechaminds. The pair, with Jesus Esparagosa of 5-Minsky, previously won in the Philippine Robotics Olympiad 2025 and represented Isidore in the World Robot Olympiad held in Manila.

Robolympics was made possible through the dedication of Sir Rein Teodoro, Robotics Facilitator, and Teacher Nicole Matic, Assistant Learner Activity Coordinator, whose commitment ensured a well-organized and meaningful event.

More than just a competition, Robolympics continues to be a platform where curiosity is transformed into innovation.

Innovation, creativity, and teamwork were on full display during the 15th FIRST LEGO League Philippines 2026 held on February 14, 2026, at the De La Salle Santiago Zobel - Vermosa Campus in Pasong Buaya II, Imus, Cavite, where Isidoreans showcased excellency in Robotics once more.

Among the participating schools from across the Philippines, Isidore delivered an outstanding performance in both the Discover and Explore categories.

In the Discover Category, the Isidore Pathfinders, composed of Eli Israel F. De Guzman, Willow Aicelinn C. Manalad, Jericho R. Magtoto Jr., and Ahmaya Louise Cruz, won the prestigious Champion’s Award. Guided by Teacher Marjorie P. Fajardo and Teacher Mary Rose D.J. Caparas, the learners impressed judges with their creativity, confidence, and strong demonstration of FIRST LEGO League core values, including teamwork, respect, and innovation.

Meanwhile, the school’s Explore Category team, the Isidore Trailblazers, earned the Coding Award for their excellence in programming and robotics performance. Team members Cian Grae B. Acosta, Raziah Margarette A. Balatbat, Chris Ryan B. Chua, Jhyller Rand H. Pontanos, Zedd E. Tejada, and Joshua Eli P. Valenzuela showcased technical precision and innovation under the guidance of their coach, Sir Jeoffrey Reinhart B. Teodoro.

The annual competition gathered schools from across the country to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education through hands-on learning and collaborative problem-solving.

Such achievements would not have been possible without the support of the parent-partners and the school administration, headed by Teacher Ann Marie Bartolome, School Administrator, and Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, School Principal, whose guidance and commitment greatly contributed to the team’s successful participation in the competition.

Isidorean learners once again proved their academic excellence as they competed in the Association of Science and Math Educators of Public and Private Schools (ASMEPPS) National Battle of Math and Science Champions held on February 20 and 21, 2026, at Easter College in Baguio City.

After winning at the regional level, Isidore Math and Science Champions traveled to Baguio City to represent not only Isidore but the entire Region 3. Competing against top qualifiers from different parts of the country, the Isidoreans demonstrated confidence and determination throughout the competition.8

In the Mathematics category, Elijah Mari B. Pascual of Grade 3 and Reese Oona B. Pascual of Grade 5 showcased their analytical skills and strong foundation in problem-solving. In Science, Corinne Semone C. Recreo represented the Preschool division, while Emira Andrea B. Dabu of Grade 1, Zia Lorraine D. Carpio of Grade 3, Raziah Margarette A. Balatbat of Grade 4, and Ziv Marcus M. Delos Reyes of Grade 6 displayed their scientific knowledge and critical thinking abilities.

Isidore also celebrated notable achievements in Mathematics. Matteo Dominic S. Bautista earned 7th Place in the Preschool division, Gadiel P. Tan secured 3rd Place in Grade 1, and Phil Kalyx C. Santos achieved 4th Place in Grade 2. 

Behind these achievements is the dedication of their teacher-coaches, Teacher Marjorie Fajardo, Teacher Erika Reyes, Teacher Anri Crisostomi, Teacher Rowena Castro, Teacher Mary Rose Caparas, Teacher Merlyn Villanueva, and Teacher Mikaellah Abundo, who devoted their time and expertise to guide and prepare the learners for the national stage. The school administration, led by Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome and Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, along with supportive parent-partners, also played an important role in making this meaningful experience possible through their unmatched guidance and support from training to competition day.

Two unforgettable days of excitement and camaraderie happened on February 18 and 19, 2026, as Isidore held its much-anticipated annual Sportsfest. Learners from preschool to Grade 6 filled the school grounds and game venues with cheers, determination, and vibrant team colors in a celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie. 

The opening program set an inspiring tone as Teacher Archelita J. Gaspar, the School Principal, delivered a speech, encouraging learners to value teamwork and embody sportsmanship throughout the competition.

A highlight of the ceremony was the opening of the Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest 2026. Representatives proudly wore their team colors in stylish sportswear, confidently showcasing not only their talents but also their wit during the question-and-answer portion. The candidates impressed judges with their poise and intelligence. The contestants’ parents also attended to support their children. 

The ceremonial lighting of the torch was carried out by Dannel Jacob Vialu, Grade 6-Babbage, symbolizing the official start of the games. Each team then raised their respective flags and performed lively team chants.

To energize everyone for the day’s activities, a lively morning Zumba session was led by the Music and Movements Club moderated by Teacher Trisha Ignacio. Learners, teachers, and staff joined the upbeat routine.

The first day of competition featured a variety of engaging games, including Blockblast, Kapogs, Chess, and Goal Tac Toe.

On the second day, the energy intensified with major events such as Big Volleyball, Smash and Defend, Touchball, and Mobile Legends. Players gave their all, cheered on by classmates and teachers.

Even the preschool learners took part in the fun, participating in activities such as Balance the Ball, Sack Race, Pass the Ball, and Island Hopping.

One of the most anticipated moments was the crowning ceremony. Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest 2025, Ram Felix Valencia and Lexi Mionette Salonga, gracefully passed their crowns to the newly crowned Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest 2026, Jake Lucas Igle of Grade 6-Pascal and Euclid Jasiel Trinidad of Grade 5-Atanasoff.

After two days of intense yet friendly competition, Sunkist Orange emerged as this year’s overall champion, earning an impressive total of 220 points.

The success of the Sportsfest was made possible through the dedication of the Sports Club Moderator, Teacher Ayo, and the Assistant Learner Activity Coordinator, Teacher Nicole, whose careful planning and preparation ensured a smooth and memorable event. With the strong teamwork of the faculty and administration, Isidore’s Sportsfest 2026 proved once again that sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie remain at the heart of the Isidore community.

Love, generosity, and compassion were brought to life as Isidore conducted its Outreach Program on January 31, 2026, at Tahanang Mapagkalinga ni Madre Rita in Guiguinto, Bulacan, where Grade 6 learners spent a meaningful day of service and fellowship with the beneficiary children of COINS project. 

The outreach activity allowed the learners to bond with the children through interactive games, meaningful conversations, laughter, and the sharing of talents.

The activity marked the culmination of this year’s Charity of Isidoreans Never Stops (COINS) Project, an initiative that encouraged learners to save coins in their coin banks. Through these small yet heartfelt acts of generosity, the learners were able to extend meaningful support to the children at the orphanage.

During the program, Andrey R. Baltazar, Vice President of the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG), shared an inspirational message emphasizing the value of simple acts of kindness. “This activity teaches us that helping others does not have to be big or complicated. Simple actions like being friendly, listening, and showing respect can make someone feel happy and valued,” he said.

SPTA President Ms. Donabel Vialu also delivered a message of gratitude, thanking the orphanage and the school for providing the opportunity to help and to expose learners to the value of service. She left a meaningful reminder, stating, “Sa pagbibigay ay mas nagiging ganap ang pagkatao.”

The project was guided by Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, School Principal, and Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome, School Administrator, with the active leadership of the SELG officers and their adviser, Teacher Rose Umali. The program was made possible through the collective efforts of the teaching and non-teaching partners, as well as the strong support of parent-partners led by the SPTA President, together with her husband Mr. Edgar Vialu and their children.

A formal turnover of donations was conducted by Teacher Princess Bernardo, Administrative Assistant, while Sister Yen formally accepted the donations on behalf of the shelter. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who extended love, generosity, and support to their community.

COINS served as a powerful reminder that when hearts unite in compassion and service, even the smallest coins and the simplest acts of kindness can create a lasting and meaningful difference.

Isidore held an educational field trip on January 28, 2026, giving Isidoreans the chance to explore, discover, and enjoy learning outside the classroom.

The learners first visited the El Deposito Museum, where they gained a deeper appreciation of Philippine history, engineering, and heritage. The museum tour offered insights into the country’s water system and explained the importance of preservation and innovation. 

They then went to Repertory Philippines Eastwood to watch the musical play Alice in Wonderland. The colorful performance showcased the power of theater in storytelling, creativity, and self-expression. 

The last stop was the Mindspark Museum at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, where learners explored interactive science exhibits. Through hands-on activities and immersive displays, they discovered the wonders of science and technology.

Some learners were accompanied by their parents, making the trip even more special as families bonded through shared learning experiences. Teachers and non-teaching staff were present to guide and assist the learners and to ensure everyone’s safety.

The field trip was graced by the presence of the School Principal, Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, and the School Administrator, Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome, whose support highlighted the school’s commitment to experiential education.

Sharing her experience, Astrid Chua of Grade 6-Pascal said, “Joining the field trip is fun and sad at the same time because this is my last year joining Isidore educational field trip since I will graduate already. But I really enjoyed the special moments with my friends.”

Overall, the field trip provided valuable learning experiences and joyful memories for everyone involved, strengthening the learners’ love for learning inside and outside the classroom.

For the first time, Isidore stepped onto the national stage of the Global English Language Olympiad of Southeast Asia (GELOSEA), a prestigious international academic competition that brings together learners from across the country to showcase their mastery of the English language.

GELOSEA focuses on developing excellence in grammar, vocabulary, spelling, reading comprehension, and critical thinking.

On November 8, 2025, Ada Jiahnna B. Sacdalan, Ziv Marcus M. Delos Reyes, Dannel Jacob G. Vialu, and Chloe J. Gaspar competed in the National Round, and all four secured medal awards, earning their well-deserved spots in the International Round in Singapore, where they will proudly represent the Philippines alongside top English achievers from various Southeast Asian countries.

Their victory also reflects the unwavering support of the school administration, the heartfelt encouragement of their parents and family, and the expert guidance of their coach, Teacher Brenelli S. Francisco, who supported them every step of the way.

As the team prepares for the next stage in Singapore, the entire Isidore community stands united in cheering them on.

The Isidore Computer Laboratory turned into a lively word arena on January 16, 2026, as select learners from Grades 5 to 6 competed in the Mind Sports Day Online Scrabble Competition.

Leading the scoreboard was Elisha Astrid R. Chua of Grade 6-Pascal, who powered her way to 1st place by forming an impressive 38 words. Close behind was Lexi Mionette Salonga, also from 6-Pascal, scoring 35 words to grab 2nd place. Rounding out the podium was Dreizen Nash B. Lumain of Grade 5-Minsky, who showed strong word skills to claim 3rd place with 25 words.Other word warriors also gave strong performances.

Sabrina Angela L. Gonzales from 6-Babbage finished with 23 words, while Jan Gabriel M. De Leon from 6-Pascal added excitement with 21 words of his own.

The match was facilitated by Teacher Bren S. Francisco, Intermediate English Teacher, assisted by Teacher Anri Jane C. Crisostomo, Head Teacher, and Teacher Erika Reyes, Lead Teacher of the Primary Level.

Under the leadership of Principal Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, and with the strong support of the School Administrator, Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome, Isidore continues to find meaningful ways to unleash the talents and potential of Isidoreans through academic and mind sports activities.

With quick thinking, sharp spelling, and lots of determination, the young word athletes proved that sports aren’t just played on courts and fields, sometimes, the biggest wins come from the power of the mind.

Brains were on full display during the Mind Sports Day Chess Competition held on January 16, 2026, as select learners from Grades 5 to 6 faced off in intense matches at the Isidore Library.

Claiming the top spot was Andrey R. Baltazar of Grade 6-Pascal, who showed sharp strategy and calm focus to earn 1st place. Daniel Alexis S. De Leon from Grade 6-Babbage battled his way to 2nd place, while Kyle Alexander S. Macalisang of Grade 5-Minsky made strong moves to secure 3rd place.

Adding to the excitement, Jhaiver Axel L. Paulo from Grade 5-Atanasoff impressed the crowd as a semi-finalist, proving his skill on the chessboard.

The tournament was smoothly facilitated by Sir Rein Teodoro, who guided the matches and ensured fair play throughout the competition.

With every move carefully planned and every match filled with suspense, the chess tournament showed that in Mind Sports Day, strategy, patience, and smart thinking lead to victory.

The Isidore community came alive on December 12, 2025, as families gathered to celebrate Isidore’s 23rd Family and Foundation Day, carrying the theme, “23 Years of Guiding with a Heart, Inspiring Excellence in Every Part.”

The program began with an invocation led by SELG President Chaniel Alexah Olaña, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, led by Teacher Nicole Matic.

Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, the School Principal, then delivered an inspiring message that encouraged everyone to share smiles, spread happiness, and enjoy the celebration while still embracing a healthy spirit of competition.

The morning’s highlight was the Field Demonstration, where learners from Preschool to Grade 6 showcased lively performances inspired by well-loved Filipino folk songs. With the support and guidance of their advisers, the learners filled the venue with energy, color, and creativity.

During lunch, everyone was treated to beautiful musical performances by Cian Grae Acosta and Zianna Termulo, who sang their award-winning pieces from the MACIPRISA Meet 2025. Afterward, the different team colors practiced and presented their cheers.

The afternoon brought even more excitement as families and learners joined a series of fun games, including the Ping-pong Ball Relay, Coin Relay, Giant Memory Game, Pass the Ball, Paper Plate Relay, and the crowd favorite, Dynamic Duos.

The Dynamic Duos game even required a thrilling tie-breaker between the Light Gold Team and the Sunkist Orange Team, with Light Gold ultimately securing 3rd Place Overall. The Light Violet Team proudly claimed 2nd Place, and the hall erupted in cheers for this year’s champion—the Apple Green Team. The School Administrator, Teacher Ann, was delighted to head the awarding of medals to the winners, making the celebration even more memorable.

This year’s Family and Foundation Day wasn’t just a school event, but it was a celebration of community, teamwork, and the bond that continues to make Isidore feel like home.

The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) of Isidore de Seville Integrated School demonstrated the spirit of service and generosity through its Cascade Kindness project, an initiative that brought together the contributions of Isidoreans and parent-partners to support members of the community in need.

Today, December 11, 2025, SELG officers, school leaders, and representatives from the School Parent Teacher Association (SPTA) personally turned over donated food items to Bahay Kalinga, a facility under the City Government of Malolos that shelters and protects vulnerable children. Food packs were likewise distributed along various areas in Malolos to under-resourced individuals, spreading warmth and compassion beyond the school walls.

At the forefront of the activity were Chaniel Alexah Olaña, SELG President, and Andrey Baltazar, SELG Vice President, together with their adviser Teacher Christy Rose Umali. Representing the entire SPTA was its ever-supportive president, Ms. Donabel Vialu, accompanied by her husband, Mr. Jack Vialu, both of whom actively participated in the distribution.

The activity was further strengthened by the presence of Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, School Principal, Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome, School Administrator, Teacher Anri Jane Crisostomo, Head Teacher, and Teacher Brenelli S. Francisco, School Documentalist.

Isidore thanks the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) headed by Ms. Lolit Santos, for welcoming the initiative and allowing Isidore to share a small act of kindness with the children of Bahay Kalinga.

The success of Cascade Kindness reflects the collective effort and generosity of the Isidore community. More than providing food, the project aims to instill in learners the lasting value of giving.

Indeed, Isidoreans continue to show that kindness grows when shared wholeheartedly, widening its cascade effect.

Isidoreans from Grades 3 to 6 recently took part in a series of meaningful Exposure Trips that allowed them to explore history and appreciate community helpers.

On November 26, 2025, Grades 5 and 6 began their educational journey with visits to several significant historical sites, including the Hiyas ng Bulacan Museum, Museo Republika ng 1899, Museo ng Kasaysayang Pampulitika ng Pilipinas, the Capitol Building, and the Malolos Cathedral. The trip aimed to deepen the learners’ understanding of the rich cultural and historical heritage found in their own community. The school expressed its heartfelt gratitude to the Provincial Government of Bulacan, especially the Provincial History, Arts, Culture and Tourism Office led by Ms. May Arlene Torres, for providing valuable insights and historical knowledge throughout the visit. Truly, our local history is a treasure worth preserving, honoring, and passing on to future generations.

Meanwhile, Grades 3 and 4 participated in the Day 2 Exposure Trip 2025. Their first stop was the Malolos City Police Station, where they toured the different offices and learned about the functions and roles of each division. PCPL Kevin Viron, PCR PNCO, guided the learners and explained how the police work together to maintain peace and safety in the community.

The next destination was the Malolos Fire Station. The learners and teachers were warmly welcomed by SFO1 Lucky Andrew A. Lizardo, Panasahan Sub-Station Commander, Community Educator, and Fire Safety Inspector. He introduced key personnel, including FO2 Christian E. Evangelista, driver-pump operator and community educator, and FO1 Marco G. Esteban, building plan evaluator and crew member. The children especially enjoyed meeting Berong, the fireman mascot, and exploring the fire station. They also learned the acronym SAFE—Sound the alarm, Alert the authorities, Fight the fire, Evacuate. They also danced to the BFP PASS song, which teaches the proper use of a fire extinguisher: Pull the pin, Aim at the base of the fire, Squeeze the lever, Sweep side to side.

To wrap up their adventure, the group visited EnJOYie Bakeshop in Mabolo, Malolos, where they observed how toasted bread is made and learned about various baking tools and equipment. As a generous gesture, Ms. Joy B. Valentin, the owner, gave free toasted bread and cupcakes to all learners and teachers.

Together, these Exposure Trips provided a rich, well-rounded learning experience, connecting Isidoreans not only with their cultural heritage but also with the dedicated community helpers who play essential roles in everyday life.

Isidoreans celebrated the MathSciTech Week on November 21, 2025, Friday, with the theme "Transforming Ideas into Innovation through MathSciTech Synergy." The event featured the essential role of Mathematics, Science, and ICT in shaping innovative, curious, and future-ready learners.

The program opened with an invocation led by Sabrina Angela L. Gonzales from 6-Babbage, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem led by Yara Z. Mohamed, from the same section. Alexandra Nae C. Mendiola then formally welcomed everyone through her warm opening remarks.

An inspirational message was delivered by Teacher Anri Jane C. Crisostomo, Head Teacher, who emphasized the importance of Science, ICT, and Mathematics in everyday life. She reminded the learners that these fields are more than academic subjects, they are keys to understanding the world and creating innovative solutions for the future.

The program became even more lively with a series of intermission numbers from select MACIPRISA Meet winners. After the stage performances, advisers and learners proceeded to their respective classrooms to continue the celebration through exciting activities prepared by the event moderators, Sir Rein Teodoro, Teacher Mikah Abundo, and Teacher Weng Castro. These hands-on experiences encouraged teamwork, curiosity, and creativity across all grade levels.

One of the major highlights of the day was the MathDali dance performance by Grades 1 to 3, where young learners blended movement and mathematics in a fun and energetic routine. The creativity continued as Grade 4 learners composed and performed their own Math Jingles.Learners from Grades 5 and 6 showcased their scientific curiosity by conducting live science experiments while learners from Grades 1 to 4 eagerly watched. The experiments included Lava Lamp, Underwater Fireworks, Bubble Magic, Bubbly Color Explosion, Bouncing Bubbles, Volcano, Coin Spin, and Disappearing Art. These interactive activities allowed learners to explore chemical reactions, density, surface tension, and other scientific principles in an engaging and memorable way.In the field of technology, intermediate learners also participated in a typing competition held at the computer laboratory.Meanwhile, the preschool learners enjoyed age-appropriate, skill-building activities such as the Robot Puzzle and Shape Builder Match Game.

The MathSciTech Week Celebration successfully brought together learners of all levels to appreciate the beauty and importance of Math, Science, and Technology.

The School Parent Teacher Association (SPTA) officers formally turned over a brand-new portable generator to Isidore on November 14, 2025.

In compliance with Memorandum No. CDRRMC-2025-40 issued by the City Government of Malolos, Isidore de Seville Integrated School actively participated in the Mandatory Simultaneous Earthquake Drill held today, October 13, 2025.

This citywide initiative, spearheaded by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC), aims to strengthen community awareness, disaster preparedness, and responsiveness among schools, institutions, and residents of the City of Malolos.

The school alarm rang signaling the start of the drill. Learners, teachers, and staff promptly executed the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure, followed by a calm and orderly evacuation to designated open areas. Teachers guided each class to ensure that safety protocols were strictly observed.

After the drill, Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome, School Administrator, Teacher Marie Rose Villano, Guidance Coordinator, and Teacher Anri Jane Crisostomo, Head Teacher, facilitated a short debriefing session, emphasizing the importance of presence of mind, cooperation, and readiness during emergencies.

Through this activity, Isidore reaffirms its commitment to promoting a culture of safety and preparedness, supporting the city’s ongoing efforts to build resilient and disaster-ready communities.

Isidore de Seville Integrated School held a heartwarming and cheerful celebration of Teachers’ Day, recognizing the dedication, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment of its educators.

The day began with delightful classroom surprises from each advisory class, where learners expressed their appreciation through small tokens of love and gratitude. Teachers were then escorted to the Function Hall, where the official program opened. Each teacher was warmly introduced on stage and gamely showcased their dance moves.

The celebration formally started with an invocation led by SELG Vice President Andrey Baltazar, followed by the singing of the National Anthem led by Ethan Bryant Villegas, SELG Historian. Chaniel Alexah Olaña, SELG President, delivered the opening remarks, extending a warm welcome to everyone present.

The program was further enlivened by special performances prepared by learners. Chloe J. Gaspar and Brianna Dionisio, both from Grade 6-Babbage, serenaded the teachers with a duet, while preschool, select primary and intermediate learners showcased their talents through energetic dance performances.

One of the most touching parts of the program was when each teacher was called on stage and presented with a heartfelt message from their learners.

In her inspirational message, School Principal Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar highlighted the noble sacrifices teachers make every day to ensure learners receive not only quality education but also genuine care. She emphasized that teaching is a profession built on passion and service to others.

Ms. Donabel Gonzales Vialu, SPTA President, also delivered a stirring speech of gratitude. “You proved to us that being a teacher is not just a profession, it is a calling. And as your parent-partners, we are here to support you in any way we can. Together, we will build a strong school community where every learner feels empowered and loved. Thank you for reminding us all that teaching can truly change the world, one child at a time,” she expressed.

Members from the Music and Movements Organisation also performed a song number that moved the teachers to tears.

Representing the faculty, Teacher Anri Jane Crisostomo, Head Teacher, accepted the outpouring of appreciation on behalf of her colleagues. She thanked the learners, parents, and the administration for their efforts in making the teachers feel valued and cherished.

Serving as the graceful ladies of ceremony were Reese Oona Pascual and Zamara V. Lapuz, both from Grade 5-Atanasoff.

The event was made possible through the hard work and dedication of the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) under the guidance of their adviser, Teacher Cristy Rose U. Umali, along with the enthusiastic participation of the learners and the strong support of the school administration.

After the program, the celebration continued with a delicious lunch prepared by the school administration. To add sweetness to the occasion, Ms. Donabel Vialu, Mr. Edgar Jerome Vialu, and their two sons, Dannel Jacob and Dylan Jace, prepared a special iced coffee booth where teachers enjoyed refreshing cups of coffee.

The SPTA also expressed their appreciation further by giving thoughtful gifts to all teachers.

Indeed, the Teachers’ Day celebration at Isidore was a heartfelt tribute, filled with joy, gratitude, and love for the unsung heroes who inspire, nurture, and shape the future of every learner.

Select learners from Isidore de Seville Integrated School proudly participated in the SM Super Spelling Bee 2025, organized and sponsored by SM Supermalls. The much-awaited competition was held on September 13, 2025, at SM Baliwag, gathering some of the most promising spellers from different schools.
Among the many Isidoreans who took the written and oral eliminations in school, three brilliant learners emerged at the top and boldly carried the school’s banner in the contest: Chloe J. Gaspar, Dannel Jacob Vialu, and Ziv Marcus Delos Reyes, all from Grade 6-Babbage.
Guided by their coach, Teacher Brenelli S. Francisco, the three representatives prepared with dedication and enthusiasm. Despite it being the school’s first time joining the contest, they displayed love for learning and bravery. Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome, School Administrator, and Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, were also with the learners throughout this journey.

With unwavering pride, Tatay Roy, Chloe's father, said it best when he told Chloe, "Congratulations for having the will and courage to participate in events that involve skill development. Let us all continue moving forward. May the Holy Spirit be always with us in our endeavors."

Isidoreans celebrated Values Week on September 11, 2025, with activities that featured faith, moral values, and creative expression.

The event started with Catholic learners gathering at the 2nd floor Accordion to pray the Holy Rosary. Learners also offered flowers to Mama Mary, commemorating the Holy Nativity of the Virgin Mary with reverence and devotion.

To further enrich the celebration, learners took part in arts and crafts activities, creating stained-glass artwork and paper flowers. Meanwhile, non-Catholic believers participated in activities that focused on building good moral character and positive values.

All learners also enjoyed film showings of Bible stories, allowing them to reflect on lessons of faith and virtue. The day culminated in a heartfelt interpretative dance performance to the worship song “Goodness of God”.

Teacher Merlyn Villanueva, the Values Club Moderator, shared that the celebration was meant to strengthen the learners’ spiritual and moral foundation. "This celebration is in remembrance of the goodness of our Creator. It is a reminder for us to live out the values that God has planted in our hearts," she said.

The event truly embodied the spirit of Values Week, faith, creativity, and character formation among Isidoreans.

Sa masigla at makulay na selebrasyon, ipinagdiwang ng Isidore de Seville Integrated School ang Buwan ng Wika at Literary Week 2025 na nagbigay-diin sa temang “Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa.” Ang mga mag-aaral, guro, at kawani ng paaralan ay nagsuot ng kani-kanilang tradisyunal na kasuotang Pilipino na lalong nagbigay ng damdamin ng pagmamahal sa sariling wika at kultura.
Sinimulan ang programa sa isang panalangin na pinangunahan ni Mathea Alexa D. Enriquez mula sa 4-Hopper, kasunod ang pag-awit ng Lupang Hinirang na pinangunahan ni Erudite Chalice Alindato mula sa 5-Atanasoff.
Nagbigay naman ng makabuluhang pagbubukas ng programa sina Athacia Grace B. Urizza at Chloe J. Gaspar, mga piling mag-aaral mula sa ika-anim na pangkat. Isa sa mga tampok na bahagi ng programa ang espesyal na pagtatanghal ng mga gurong sina Bb. Mary Ann Nicole B. Matic at G. Rein Teodoro na nagpamalas ng galing at talento sa pag-awit.

Nagkaroon din ng iba’t ibang aktibidad ang mga mag-aaral na tumutugma sa tema ng pagdiriwang. Isa sa pinakakaabangang karanasan ay ang “Pilipinas sa Isang Silid”, isang silid na puno ng mga tanawin, kultura, kasaysayan, at simbolo ng ating bansa. Sa pagbisita rito, higit na naunawaan at napahalagahan ng mga mag-aaral ang yaman ng ating lahi at kulturang Pilipino.
Bukod sa mga pagtatanghal, paligsahan, at mga makabuluhang aktibidad, nagkaroon din ng masarap na karanasan ang mga mag-aaral sa pagtikim ng iba’t ibang kakanin mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng Pilipinas. Ang pagkilala at pagtikim sa mga pagkaing ito ay nagmulat sa mga Isidorean sa mayamang kultura nating mga Pilipino.
Naging bahagi rin ng makabuluhang araw ng mga mag-aaral ang pagiging bahagi ng “Book Fair" kung saan nagkaroon ng pagkakataon ang bawat isa na bumili ng mga librong pambata, at mahikayat ang pagmamahal sa pagbabasa.
Ang matagumpay na selebrasyon ay hindi maisasakatuparan kung wala ang sipag at dedikasyon ng mga tagapag-ugnay ng programa na sina Bb. Patricia Coleen Cortez at Bb. Ellaine Cruz, na buong pusong nagplano at nag-organisa ng mga gawain para sa lahat ng mag-aaral.

Ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika at Literary Week 2025 sa Isidore ay tunay na naging makulay, makahulugan, at makasaysayan, isang paalala na ang wika at kultura ay mahalagang sandigan sa pagkakaisa ng sambayanang Pilipino.

Isidore de Seville Integrated School joined the nationwide celebration of Nutrition Month on July 16, 2025, aligning its activities with the theme set by the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN), “Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat", which promotes the importance of proper nutrition.

The celebration started with an Invocation led by Angelica Vijandre of Grade 6-Babbage, followed by the singing of the National Anthem led by Chris Ryan B. Chua of Grade 4-Hopper. The learners were warmly welcomed by Faith Calayag of Grade 6-Pascal, who delivered the Opening Remarks. “As learners, we need to nourish to flourish.", she said. 

The Ladies of Ceremonies, Teacher Patricia Cortez and Teacher Merlyn Villanueva, introduced the day's exciting lineup of activities. Before proceeding to their respective classrooms, learners were energized by a lively Zumba session.

Throughout the day, each class engaged in interactive and educational activities including Healthy Bingo, Mask Making, Fruit Basket Making, and Healthy Plate Designing. 

A special health activity was also held with Nurse Dioanna Camua, where learners had their height and weight measured, promoting awareness of growth and development as part of personal health.

One of the most awaited highlights of the celebration was the Salad Making Contest participated by Grades 5 and 6 learners. Each group prepared their own versions of vegetable and fruit salads, explaining the ingredients used and their nutritional benefits to the panel of judges. Grade 6-Babbage won 1st Place, Grade 5-Atanasoff bagged the 2nd Place, and 3rd Place was awarded to Grade 6-Pascal.

The celebration concluded with an inspirational message from Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, the School Principal, who emphasized the importance of making healthy choices, not only in food but in behavior and character.

The Isidore Nutrition Week Celebration was not only a celebration of food and fun but a meaningful step toward raising awareness and promoting a healthier, stronger Isidore community.

On August 2, 2025, select learners of Isidore de Seville Integrated School who passed the Newsletter Qualifying Exam participated in a one-day Newsletter Training Seminar held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The seminar aimed to prepare and equip the next batch of young journalists for The Isidorean, the school’s official newsletter.

The event began with an invocation led by Erwan Morris Enriquez, followed by the singing of the National Anthem led by Chloe J. Gaspar. To formally open the seminar, Ada Jiahnna Sacdalan, a three-time contributor to the school newsletter, delivered heartfelt opening remarks. She shared the knowledge and experiences she gained throughout her years in the organization, inspiring the new members to embrace the responsibilities of campus journalism.

Teacher Brenelli S. Francisco, the School Paper Adviser, started the session with an engaging activity titled “Draw a Duck,” where participants creatively designed their own duck characters and presented them in front of the group. This fun activity helped break the ice and allowed the learners to express themselves confidently.

The first part of the seminar introduced the participants to the concept and purpose of a school publication. Teacher Bren highlighted the role of The Isidorean as a platform for learner voices and a chronicle of elementary life. She then discussed the basics of news writing, with a focus on crafting strong leads and writing clear, concise, and impactful headlines.

In the afternoon, the participants delved deeper into the world of campus journalism with the help of Teacher Anri Jane C. Crisostomo, Teacher Marjorie Fajardo, Teacher Mikaellah Abundo, and Teacher Erika Reyes. Each teacher discussed a specific type of article, news, feature, and opinion, providing essential tips and techniques. The learners were then given time to write their own sample articles, applying the lessons they had just learned in hands-on activities.

To wrap up the training, School Principal, Dr. Arcelita J. Gaspar, delivered an inspirational talk, reminding the aspiring journalists of the importance of humility and integrity in all their endeavors. She also led the awarding of certificates, recognizing both the student participants and the dedicated facilitators who helped make the event successful.

The seminar concluded with a group photo session.

With sharpened skills and fresh motivation, these young campus journalists are now ready to contribute meaningful content to The Isidorean and uphold the values of truth, responsibility, and creativity through their writing.

We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievement of the Isidore Mechaminds, who secured Rank 6 in the Philippine Robotics Olympiad, now getting ready for the next level.

From day one, the Isidore Mechaminds showed dedication, passion, and an eagerness to learn as their coach, Teacher Nicole, and assistant coach, Sir Rein, patiently guided them. As first-time competitors, they attended every training session with enthusiasm --- determination gleaming in their eyes. Though there were moments of nervous smiles, hesitations, and minor setbacks — a paused robot here, a small error there — their perseverance never wavered.

Their journey is a beautiful reminder that success isn't just about winning; it’s about growth, teamwork, and the courage to take that first bold step.

Out of 45 participating schools from across the Philippines, Isidore Mechaminds, the Robotics Team of Isidore, under the Elementary Category, secured a spot in the Top 21 at the 24th Philippine Robotics Olympiad (PRO), advancing to the next round set to take place tomorrow, July 22.

Representing the school are talented innovators Jeus Raphael C. Esparagosa, Chloe J. Gaspar, and Andrey R. Baltazar, who showcased focus, creativity, and technical skills as they completed the robotics challenge themed "Future of Robots: Satellites at Work."

The team is guided by dedicated coaches Sir Reinhart Teodoro and Teacher Mary Ann Nicole Matic, with strong support from the School’s Administrator, Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome and the School Principal, Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar.

Throughout the day, the team designed, built, programmed, and tested their robot, completing two official runs that demonstrated the robot’s precision and problem-solving capabilities in a satellite-inspired challenge.

As Isidore Mechaminds advance to the next round tomorrow, they bring with them not only their innovative robot but also the support of the entire Isidore community.

On July 12, 2025, Isidore de Seville Integrated School held its Leadership Training Seminar (LTS), a full-day event from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. designed to equip Isidorean leaders from Grades 4 to 6 with the knowledge, values, and skills necessary to lead the Isidore way.

The seminar opened with an invocation led by Chaniel Alexah L. Olaña, Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) President, followed by the singing of the National Anthem led by Andrey R. Baltazar, SELG Vice President, and Ethan Bryant C. Villegas, SELG Historian. Teacher Cristy Rose U. An inspirational speech was delivered by the Head Teacher, Teacher Anri Jane C. Crisostomo, featuring the importance of having a good character in leadership.

The program then shifted into its first leadership session, presented by Teacher Bren S. Francisco, who shared real-life insights into what it means to be a youth leader, inspired by her experiences as a City of Malolos Federation of Sangguniang Kabataan Vice President.

The participants actively performed their team chants. Then, a series of four engaging games, each paired with reflection periods, allowed Isidorean leaders to explore teamwork, problem-solving, and communication in a hands-on setting. The games were facilitated by respected faculty members including T. Jo Fajardo, PS Lead Teacher, T. Marie Rose Villano, Guidance Coordinator, T. Erika Reyes, Primary Lead Teacher, and T. Mikah Abundo, Intermediate Lead Teacher.

Another leadership talk was given by Teacher Merlyn Villanueva, an appointed Sangguniang Kabataan Treasurer in her barangay, further emphasizing the role of learners in making impactful contributions to their school and community.

The event concluded with the awarding of certificates to participants and speakers, presented by Dr. Archie J. Gaspar, CHRA, the School Principal. In her closing remarks, Teacher Archie left inspiring words, “For you to have the power to shine, you must first have the power to love.”

Isidore de Seville Integrated School held the Induction of Officers for the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG), Class, Club, and Organization Officers, alongside the newly elected School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) General and Grade-Level Officers for School Year 2025-2026 today, July 11.

The program began with a warm welcome message from Head Teacher Anri Jane C. Crisostomo, who emphasized the value of shared leadership.

The invocation was led by Chaniel Alexah Olaña, elected SELG President, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, led by Ainah Artemis Espiritu, President of the Music and Movements Organization. The program flowed under the guidance of the Ladies of Ceremonies, Teacher Brenelli S. Francisco and Teacher Marie Rose Villano.

Dr. Arcelita J. Gaspar, School Principal, presided over the induction rites, formally declaring the elected learner and parent leaders into their respective roles. She also awarded Certificates of Recognition to the newly elected officers in appreciation of their commitment to serve the school community, together with Teacher Mary Ann Nicole Matic, Learner Activity Coordinator, and Teacher Cristy Rose U. Umali, SELG Adviser.

One of the important highlights of the program was the Turnover Ceremony of the outgoing SPTA President Ms. Beth Crisostomo and incoming SPTA President Ms. Donabel Vialu. Both leaders expressed their dedication to promote unity and continued partnership between parents and the school. Certificates of Appreciation were also presented to the outgoing SPTA Officers for SY 2024-2025, recognizing their invaluable contributions and dedicated service to the school.

Teacher Archie delivered the closing remarks, expressing her congratulations and gratitude to all newly inducted leaders and parent-partners who graced the event with their presence despite challenging weather. She later facilitated a follow-up meeting with the latter, preparing for a stronger partnership. 

The Induction of Officers was more than an event, it was a meaningful celebration of leadership, partnership, and shared vision, for an even more productive SY 2025-2026.

Isidore de Seville Integrated School exercised their right to vote during the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) Elections held on July 9, 2025.
Prior to election day, candidates from two partylists, the Dynamic Learners Party (DLP) under the advisorship of Teacher Jessica Mae Miranda, and the Progressive Learners Party (PLP) under the guidance of Teacher Merlyn Marie Villanueva, actively campaigned, sharing their platforms and convincing their fellow Isidoreans why they deserved a seat in the SELG.
Each party showcased strong candidates across key positions. For President, DLP put forward Lakhwinder Singh while PLP nominated Chaniel Alexah Olaña. The race for Vice President was between Andrey Baltazar for DLP and Aila Janine Leoncio for PLP. For Secretary, Zamara Lapuz represented DLP while Angelica Jaycel Vijandre stood for PLP. Lastly, the Historian candidates were Faith Laramae Calayag for DLP and Ethan Bryant Villegas for PLP.

Today, July 10, excitement filled the school grounds as the learners and teachers gathered for the much-awaited announcement of winners. The learners cheered as the following candidates were announced victorious: Chaniel Alexah L. Olaña for President with 105 votes, Andrey R. Baltazar for Vice President with 78 votes, Zamara Louese V. Lapuz for Secretary with 76 votes, and Ethan Bryant C. Villegas for Historian with 84 votes.

With the guidance and expertise of this year’s SELG adviser, Teacher Christy Rose Umali, the newly elected leaders and the whole Isidore community are ready to work together to make School Year 2025-2026 one to remember.

In preparation for the upcoming school year, Isidore de Seville Integrated School successfully conducted a Face-to-Face Parent Orientation today, June 14, 2025. This was attended by the school’s parent-partners, ready to collaborate and support their children’s holistic development for School Year 2025-2026.

The orientation was held in three batches. The first batch included parents of preschool learners, the second batch included parents of Grade 1 learners and new learners from Grades 2-6, and the third batch welcomed parents of returning learners from Grades 2-6.

The program opened with an invocation led by Teacher Leica and Teacher Mary, followed by the Philippine National Anthem led by Teacher Pat and Sir Rein. The warm opening remarks were delivered by the School Principal, Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, who reminded the parent-partners that “A joyful heart makes a good countenance” as cited in Proverbs 15:13. This was just one of the many uplifting messages she shared with the participants. 

Teacher Anri Crisostomo, the Head Teacher, introduced the dedicated teaching and non-teaching partners who will be working closely with the learners this year.

Following this, Teacher Mikah Abundo, Intermediate Lead Teacher, shared the inspiring story of the school’s history, while Teacher Bren Francisco, School Documentalist, presented the school’s vision and mission. Meanwhile, Teacher Weng Castro, Math Coordinator, explained the grading system, and Teacher Jo Fajardo, Preschool Lead Teacher, elaborated on awards and recognition.

The school activities and enrichment programs were presented by Teacher Nicole Matic, Learners Activity Coordinator. Teacher Erika Reyes, Primary Lead Teacher, gave an overview of the learner services and facilities, while Nurse Dioana Camua oriented the parents on the school’s health services.

Teacher Marie Rose Villano, Guidance Coordinator, thoroughly discussed the school policies and regulations and gave important reminders to ensure a smooth school year. Teacher Princess Bernardo, Admin Assistant, introduced the parents to the school canteen operations.

Before the end of the program, a short video presentation of an actual robotics class was played. This gave parents a glimpse of one of the school’s programs that enables learners to explore, discover, and learn through play,  a powerful approach that combines creativity, critical thinking, and fun.

Parent-partners were also given time to ask questions and seek clarifications on any topic. Teacher Archie personally acknowledged their concerns with clarity, emphasizing that open communication is important in school-home partnership.

To strengthen the culture of research and continuous improvement in education, the faculty members of Isidore de Seville Integrated School attended an Action Research Seminar on June 13, 2025, facilitated by Mr. Julius L. Fabian, an accomplished educator specializing in senior high school research.

The program opened with a prayer led by Teacher Brenelli S. Francisco, Grade School Teacher, and Documentalist. Teacher Anri Jane C. Crisostomo, the Head Teacher, introduced the speaker with warmth and excitement. Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, the School Principal, took the introduction a step further, expressing heartfelt pride in Mr. Fabian. “I was once his professor, and it brings me great joy to see how much he has grown in the field of education.”, she said.

Sir Julio began the seminar by discussing the fundamentals of Action Research, emphasizing its importance in educational practice. “Research is important in education because it builds a culture of excellence,” he shared, inspiring the faculty to view research not just as an academic requirement but as a tool for meaningful transformation.

The seminar was highly interactive, with teachers engaging in discussions and activities. Teachers were divided into two groups, each tasked with developing an action research proposal relevant to Isidore. The collaborative brainstorming led to insightful outputs, which the groups presented afterward.

Impressed with the performance of the faculty, Sir Julio stated, "Based on the output, I believe the Isidore faculty has great potential in research."

The seminar concluded with the awarding of certificates. Teacher Princess Bernardo awarded the certificate of appreciation to the resource person for his significant contribution towards the professional growth of the Isidore faculty. Participants from the teaching staff also received certificates of participation.

This seminar is another step in Isidore's mission towards cultivating reflective and research-minded educators, all for the excellence of its learners, the Isidoreans.

The Isidore faculty joined a dynamic three-day robotics training facilitated by Felta Multimedia Inc., the school’s official robotics education partner, from June 9 to 11, 2025.

The first day of the training began with a reintroduction to the WeDo 2.0 Core Set, where teachers built various engaging models, including car racing robots, specimen-grabbing robots, and Milo, the Science Rover. These activities reignited the teachers’ familiarity with the basic concepts of robotics and gave importance to problem-solving and creativity.

On June 10, the focus shifted to the Spike Prime Kit, a more advanced robotics platform. Felta’s trainers guided the teachers through a series of robot-building and coding challenges, further enhancing their confidence and competence in using the kit in future classroom instruction.

The final day of the training, June 11, introduced the teachers to the Philippine Robotics Olympiad (PRO). They were given challenges inspired by PRO tasks.

This comprehensive training not only reinforced the school’s commitment to 21st-century learning but also ensured that Isidore’s faculty members are fully equipped to integrate robotics into their teaching across grade levels. The school is deeply grateful to Felta Multimedia Inc. for their continued partnership and expert guidance.

To prepare for a new school year, the Faculty and Staff of Isidore de Seville Integrated School came together for the Collaborative Development Activity held from June 3 to 5, 2025, at Bhriella’s Farm in Longos, Calumpit, Bulacan. This activity served as a meaningful time for the Isidore team to realign their goals, strengthen relationships, and renew their shared commitment to the school’s mission and vision. 

Throughout the three-day activity, both teaching and non-teaching personnel were given space to reflect, share stories, and express their hopes and aspirations for the upcoming academic year. With ready hearts and open minds, they engaged in a blend of reflective conversations and spirited team-building exercises that developed trust, laughter, and a sense of unity that goes beyond the workplace.

Dynamic games and challenges also sparked joy and healthy competition between two teams, Team Red and Team Blue. Both poured their energy, creativity and strategy into every activity. In the end, Team Blue was awarded the overall winner, but every participant left the place with something far more valuable, that is, renewed connections, mutual encouragement, and shared joy in working together. 

One of the most uplifting moments of the activity was the inspiring messages delivered by Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, the School Principal. With sincerity and wisdom, Teacher Archie reminded everyone of the deeper calling behind their work, the call to serve with faith, lead with purpose, and strive for excellence in all things. The presence of Sir Jose Ronello Bartolome, Chief Executive Officer, and Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome, School Administrator, added further meaning to the activity, as their unwavering support and gentle encouragement reaffirmed the school leadership’s dedication to both the professional and personal growth of their employees. 

Deep gratitude is extended to the hardworking Admin Staff who worked quietly behind the scenes to organize the activities and ensure the safety and comfort of all participants.

As the team returns to their roles with refreshed spirits and a renewed sense of purpose, they are more than ready to welcome School Year 2025-2026, united in mission, strong in faith, and committed to growing together for the good of every learner and the entire Isidore community.

The fifth and final day of the week-long Preschool Readiness Program of Isidore, which began on May 26, was marked with joyful learning and energetic activities. The program aimed to help young learners smoothly transition into formal schooling and it did so.

Throughout the week, the children were introduced to foundational concepts including vowel sounds and numbers. The young learners sang songs, danced to lively tunes, and participated in hands-on art projects. They also played educational games, which helped them practice what they learned.

Guiding the young learners through this enriching journey were Teacher Jo, Teacher Mary and Teacher Anri who closely observed and supported each child. Their patient guidance and gentle encouragement played a significant role in helping the learners build confidence and readiness for the next step in their educational journey.

As the program wrapped up, it is indeed a mission accomplished to ready the young learners, as they spent the week, filled with learning, laughter, and the excitement of new beginnings.

The Preschool Readiness Program at Isidore continues to be a joyful and enriching journey for our young learners. Now on the 4th day of the program, the children are becoming more comfortable with classroom routines while developing foundational skills through fun and engaging activities.

This week, through the efforts and guidance of Teacher Jo and Teacher Mary, the learners focused on familiarizing themselves with the vowel sounds A, E, I, and O, and number 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Alongside phonics and numbers, the children took part in dance exercises and movement games. These activities also served as a delightful outlet for their energy
Creative expression was also a highlight, with art activities allowing the learners to explore colors and shapes.
Equally important, the children are being gently guided to follow instructions and adapt to classroom routines. With the help of patient and nurturing teachers, they are learning the importance of listening, taking turns, and transitioning between activities.

As the program continues until tomorrow, May 30, Friday, we look forward to witnessing even more growth and excitement in our young learners.

Isidore de Seville Integrated School has officially started its in-house training for faculty members in preparation for School Year 2025-2026 on May 26. 

The first day of the training was facilitated by the School Principal, Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar. She emphasized the significance of being both sensitive and sensible educators, qualities that form the heart of meaningful teaching. She reminded the faculty that beyond academic delivery, teachers must strive to understand, connect with, and respond to the needs of their learners with sympathy and empathy.

The training program, while still ongoing, has so far included classroom management, preparation of lessons, as well as effective teaching techniques. Meaningful sessions and reflective discussions on important topics are being oriented not only towards equipping the faculty with necessary learnings but also are likely to spark new ideas to guide them into service as mentors and models.

The teachers’ hearts and minds are continuously being sharpened to be ready, and so stands the Isidore faculty united in delivering the best education for Isidoreans.

The Isidore Robotics Team is proudly waving the Philippine flag high at the 2025 Robotics World Championships being held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. These talented young innovators are composed of Ethan Bryant C. Villegas, the Team Captain, Prince Dion Gale P. Camua, Zamara Louese V. Lapuz, Reese Oona B. Pascual, and Jhaiver Axel L. Paulo. These bright minds are not only representing Isidore de Seville Integrated School but also showcasing Filipino talent on the world stage.

The Isidore Trailblazers is under the guidance of their dedicated coach, Teacher Jocelyn G. Dalusung, and is joined by the School Administrator Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome and Isidore Chief Executive Officer Sir Jose Ronello T. Bartolome. Lending their unwavering support are the learners’ proud parents and families who have traveled with them to the United States.

On April 15, 2025, the team successfully completed their registration for the global competition. As part of their cultural experience, they also had the opportunity to visit iconic landmarks in Houston, including the Houston City Hall and Sam Houston Park. On the second day, the team had efficiently set up their designated area at the venue, preparing for their much-anticipated project presentation.

On April 18, 2025, the Isidore Robotics Team confidently presented their innovative robot designed to aid in the preservation of coral reefs, a timely and meaningful project that reflects both environmental advocacy and technical skill.

As the competition results are still being awaited, the Isidore community, along with the entire nation, stands proud of the team’s achievements. Regardless of the outcome, their journey and dedication have already brought honor to the Philippines. Their presence in this prestigious global event is proof of the excellence and potential of Filipino youth in the field of science and technology.

Isidore de Seville Integrated School successfully held Sportsfest 2025, an exciting two-day event that celebrated both traditional and modern sports, which took place on March 13 and 14. The Opening Ceremony on March 13 was a grand and inspiring start to the festivities. Neil Cristoff Artiaga of 6-Pascal led the opening prayer, while Larah Denisse Surio, also from 6-Pascal, led the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. The atmosphere was electrified by a special performance from the Glee Club and Theater Guild members, setting the tone for the exciting competitions ahead.

Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, the school principal, gave an inspirational speech, emphasizing that "win or lose, Isidoreans are all winners in their own rights." Her message encouraged learners to play with integrity and enjoy the spirit of friendly competition. Meanwhile, Teacher Abigail Laderas, the Assistant Student Activity Coordinator, officially announced the lineup of games, heightening the anticipation among the teams. Isidoreans then proudly presented their team chants and flags. To mark the official opening, Kavin Reyes of 6-Babbage steered the lighting of the torch, for an olympic-like experience. Maxine Avery Tedera of 6-Pascal followed by leading the Pledge of Sportsmanship, reminding everyone of the values of fairness and respect in competition. Teacher Yolly Claire Contreras also had an intermission number showing her skills in arnis.

The first day of Sportsfest 2025 featured a combination of traditional and modern sports, allowing learners to display their athleticism, strategic thinking, and teamwork. Learners eagerly competed in basketball, chess, patintero, tumba tac toe and dodgeball, showing a mix of skill, agility, and sportsmanship. Adding to the excitement was the Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest competition, where representatives from each team color confidently showcased their sports attire and answered thought-provoking questions about the importance of sports and teamwork. Proud parents cheered for their children, making the event even more memorable.

On March 15, the second day of the sportsfest began with an energetic group Zumba session, led by the Isidore Dance Troupe. The lively routine energized the participants before they once again presented their team chants.
The competitions continued with even more engaging and action-packed games, including big volleyball, chain relay, pass the ball, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The combination of traditional physical games and modern esports highlighted the evolution of sports and the diverse interests of the learners.
After two days of intense but friendly competition, the Blue Eagles emerged as the champion of Sportsfest 2025, followed by the Pink Alphas in second place and the Yellow Tigers in third place. Meanwhile, Ram Valencia of 5-Atanasoff and Lexi Mionette Salonga of the same section were crowned as Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest, earning recognition for their confidence, wit, and poise.

Sportsfest 2025 was not just about winning, it was a celebration of athleticism and teamwork. The event successfully combined traditional and modern sports, proving that while times may change, the values of discipline, teamwork, and school spirit remain strong. With unforgettable moments and strengthened friendships, the Isidoreans once again proved that the true essence of sports lies in unity, respect, and the love of the game.

Isidore de Seville Integrated School celebrated the Community Helpers Week Culminating Day on February 7, 2025, with engaging activities designed to help learners appreciate the hard work and dedication of community helpers.

The program commenced with Sir Adrian Fuertes, the Student Activity Coordinator, delivering the opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of honoring and understanding the significance of community helpers. Following this, Teacher Archie shared an inspirational message, encouraging students to respect and appreciate the everyday heroes in their lives. Adding a touch of musical delight, the Glee Club members captivated the audience with their heartwarming performance.

To further inspire the learners, community helpers were invited as resource speakers to share their experiences. The guest speakers included Ms. Epamela Sarsaba, a policewoman, who spoke about the dedication and bravery required in maintaining peace and order; Mr. Rogelio I. Gonzales Jr., a government dentist, who emphasized the importance of oral health and how it contributes to overall well-being; and Mr. Ephraim Trinidad Jr., a financial consultant, who highlighted the value of financial literacy and responsible money management. Their messages left a lasting impact on Isidoreans and teachers.

Meanwhile, a heartwarming moment of the event was when the SPTA, represented by Ms. Charity Olaña, surprised the school’s maintenance staff with a special gift, recognizing their hard work and dedication to the learners. They also thanked the teachers for their passion to guide the children.

One of the most exciting activities of the day was the Community Booth Exploration, where Grades 4-6 creatively transformed their classrooms into different community stations, showcasing various professions. Grade 4-Packard turned their classroom into an airport, Grade 4-Hopper designed a hospital, Grade 5-Atanasoff created a police station, Grade 5-Minsky set up a bakery, Grade 6-Babbage arranged a restaurant and Grade 6-Pascal established a fire station.

The primary learners had the exciting task of voting for the Best Community Station. In the end, Grade 5-Atanasoff’s police station won third place, Grade 6-Babbage’s Restaurant earned second place, and Grade 4-Packard’s Airport claimed first place.

The Community Helpers Week Culminating Day truly embodied the spirit of gratitude and recognition. As the program concluded, learners left with a newfound admiration for community helpers.

The Isidore de Seville Integrated School actively participated in the Malolos School Drill Monitoring and Kids Handa Program organized by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) represented by Ms. Glenda Garcia, Ms. Analyn G. Uychoco, Mr. Antonio G. Sapasap Jr., and Ms. Maria Fe Lourdes Grace M. Sy, and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) represented by FO1 Mariella Cruz, on February 6, 2025. The event aimed to enhance learners, faculty, and staff's disaster preparedness and emergency response skills.

During the drill, learners and school personnel demonstrated their discipline and preparedness by properly executing the Duck, Cover, and Hold procedure, an essential response technique in case of an earthquake. The smooth and organized execution of the drill showcased the school's commitment to ensuring safety and readiness during emergencies. 

FO1 Cruz commended the school for its preparedness, particularly noting that each learner had their own “go bags", a crucial element in disaster readiness. “Nakakatuwa po ang school ninyo dahil pati mga bata, nagbibilang sila ng one minute, at lahat kayo ay may Go Bag”, she said. 

Adding to the event's excitement, RR the Mascot made a special appearance, bringing joy to the learners. They also participated in disaster risk reduction trivia games, where those who answered correctly were rewarded with a Kids Handa tote bag. The school grounds were filled with laughter and energy, making the event both educational and enjoyable.

The participation of Isidore de Seville Integrated School in this initiative highlights its dedication to disaster preparedness and safety awareness. The school remains committed to strengthening its emergency response capabilities, ensuring that all learners, faculty, and staff are well-equipped to handle emergencies effectively.

The Isidore Team has proven its excellence in robotics as it dominated the 14th FIRST LEGO League Philippines (FLL PH) competition. The Isidore Pathfinders secured First Place, while the Isidore Trailblazers made history as the first-ever first-timer CHAMPION, earning the honor of representing the Philippines in the upcoming Lego League Championships.

This achievement is a result of the dedication and passion of our learners, who embraced the FLL core values of discovery, innovation, impact, inclusion, teamwork, and fun. Their journey to victory was paved with rigorous training sessions, where they honed their skills in robotics, programming, problem-solving, and even research.

A special acknowledgement goes to our dedicated Robotics Coaches, Teacher Jocelyn G. Dalusung and Teacher Marjorie Fajardo whose mentorship played a crucial role in guiding the teams to success. We also extend our gratitude to the supportive parents who stood by our learners throughout this journey.

Way to go to the Isidore Trailblazers as they gear up to represent the Philippines in the international competition.

The Isidore community held an outreach program on January 25, 2025, that brought together Grade 6 learners, faculty and staff, Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) officers, and School Parent Teacher Association (SPTA) officers. The event was part of the annual “Charity of Isidoreans Never Stops” project, which exemplifies the school’s commitment to demonstrate generosity. 

The initiative involved learners saving money in their coin banks to support this year’s beneficiary, Tahanang Mapagkalinga ni Madre Rita, an orphanage in Rosaryville, Guiguinto, Bulacan.

Jasmer Miranda of Grade 6 Pascal led the opening prayer followed by the singing of the National Anthem, led by Liam Hernandez of the same section. Teacher Patricia Cortez, a Grade 6 adviser, and Maxine Tedera, a Grade 6 learner and SPG Historian served as the hosts for the program.

Ms. Beth Crisostomo, SPTA President, delivered an inspiring opening remark, expressing her gratitude. “Maraming salamat po sa opportunity na ma-experience ng mga Isidoreans na makita ang ganitong community kasi maiisip nila na napakaswerte nila”, she said. 

The day was filled with joy as the Isidoreans and the children from the orphanage bonded through a Zumba dance and participated in exciting games. This was followed by a delightful moment of having their snacks together. One of the highlights of the event was the turnover of donations from the Isidore community, spearheaded by Teacher Princess. The management of Tahanang Mapagpala ni Madre Rita expressed their heartfelt gratitude, emphasizing how the generous contributions would significantly help sustain their day-to-day operations.

This outreach program not only provided material support to the orphanage but also offered the Isidoreans a profound lesson in empathy and social responsibility. Through activities like these, the spirit of giving continues to thrive, reinforcing the value of helping others and making a difference in the community.

The learners, parents, teachers, and staff of Isidore de Seville Integrated School participated in an enriching educational field trip on January 23, 2025. This trip blended history, heritage, and modern art, leaving learners with valuable lessons and unforgettable memories.

The journey began at one of the largest zoological parks in the Philippines, Avilon Zoo. Learners marveled at colorful birds in the aviary, encountered reptiles like pythons and crocodiles, and also saw face-to-face hyenas, tigers, lions, monkeys, and more.

After lunch at the Quezon Memorial Circle, participants went to the Presidential Car Museum, located within the latest. Here, the learners discovered the vintage and historic cars once used by the former Philippine Presidents. The museum provided an insightful look into the evolution of the country’s leadership, as each vehicle told a unique story of legacy.

The group then proceeded to Quezon Heritage House and Quezon Memorial Shrine. The first is a well-preserved ancestral home of President Manuel L. Quezon. It offered a glimpse into the lifestyle and values of the country’s first Commonwealth President. Learners explored the interiors, furnishings, and memorabilia, which deepened their appreciation of Philippine heritage. Meanwhile, the Quezon Memorial Shrine stood as a towering tribute to President Quezon’s enduring legacy, with its detailed displays and exhibits.

The final stop of the day was the Art in Island: The Media Square, the largest mixed media art museum in the Philippines. This world-class attraction offered a fully immersive experience, with learners stepping into a mesmerizing world of light displays, animated projections, and interactive art installations. Through its innovative use of media technology, Art in Island provided a fresh perspective on art appreciation, showcasing the seamless fusion of creativity and technology.

This year’s educational field trip allowed Isidoreans to connect with history, heritage, and modern art in meaningful ways. It was a day of discovery, inspiration, and learning.

The Culminating Day of the Math, Science, and ICT Week was filled with creativity, collaboration, and celebration of knowledge under the theme “MathSciTech Fusion: Combining Forces for Innovation." The event started with Isidoreans dressed in vibrant and inventive costumes representing Math, Science, and Technology. Learners gathered for a short program that began with an opening prayer led by Caden Mascareñas and the singing of the National Anthem led by Sophie Mia Laurente, both from Grade 6-Babbage. Meanwhile, Sir Ian, the Student Activity Coordinator, gave his Welcome Remarks. Then, Teacher Archie, the School Principal, in her Opening Remarks, acknowledged the fantastic efforts of learners and parents for their costume designs.

The event also featured exciting performances, including the Glee Organization’s lively songs about Math, Science, and Technology, inspiring learners to embrace learning these subjects without any fear. The dance troupe added an energizing intermission number, and the theater guild also amused the audience with a short performance related to the theme. 

One of the highlights of the day was the Best Costume Competition, where winners from each section competed in the final round. The top costumes were presented with explanations of their creative concepts. 

In addition to the costume competition, the Quiz Bee held a final round, where the top scorers from each section competed, testing their knowledge across a range of subjects. 

Throughout the week leading up to the culminating day, learners also engaged in a variety of enriching activities, such as programming through Minecraft Adventure, creating Layers of the Skin models, designing a 3D animal habitat, and designing their coin banks.

The young explorers of Isidore also visited the Discover Zone Exhibit, where they explored robots, antique coins, old gadgets, dioramas, and other fascinating displays that blended innovation and history. 

This event successfully highlighted the synergy of Math, Science, and Technology, leaving the Isidore community inspired and excited for future learning endeavors.

The District 1 Schools Press Conference 2025, held on January 10, 2025, at Barasoain Memorial Integrated School (BMIS), showcased the exceptional skills and talents of young campus journalists from public and private schools in District 1. Among the participants, Isidore de Seville Integrated School emerged as a standout, earning the award of Overall Top Performing School for the Elementary Level. 

The event brought together aspiring journalists from the district to compete in various individual and group categories, including news writing, copy editing and proofreading, editorial writing, editorial cartooning, science news writing, column writing, feature writing, sports writing, photojournalism, radio broadcasting, and collaborative publishing. Isidoreans, placer or not, displayed their remarkable skills, teamwork, and dedication. A resounding success is a result of the combined efforts and ceaseless support of our teacher-coaches, parent-partners, the school administration, and Isidoreans, from training sessions to the day of the competition. 

The District 1 Schools Press Conference not only highlighted the talent of young journalists but also reinforced the importance of responsible writing and speaking. 

As Isidore celebrates this milestone, the school looks forward to representing the district in various categories in the upcoming Division Schools Press Conference on January 20 and 21, 2025.

Gratitude and joy filled Isidore school grounds morning of October 4, 2024, as the Isidore community celebrated Teachers' Day.

The program started with an opening prayer led by Ethan Bryant C. Villegas of Grade 4-Packard, followed by the singing of the National Anthem led by Chloe J. Gaspar of Grade 5-Minsky. The ladies of the ceremony, Teacher Mary Rose Caparas, and SPG Vice President Chaniel Alexa Olaña, acknowledged all the faculty members and staff, then welcomed everyone. To set the mood of the event, the members of the Glee Organization performed the song “You Can Count on Me” with the accompaniment of ukulele played by Chloe J. Gaspar of 5-Minsky. Thereafter, Theater Guild members performed a short musical play about the significance of a teacher’s presence in the lives of children. Meanwhile, some throwback pictures of teachers were revealed prior to playing the gratitude videos of select learners. Teachers were also surprised that they had to also give a response message to the appreciation video. A “Best Educator" sash and a token of appreciation were also awarded to every Isidore educator.  Adding excitement to the event is the presentation performed by the Dance Troupe. 

On the other hand, the School Parent Teacher Association Officers also expressed their love to their children's parents at school through a heartfelt song number, surprise video greetings from select Isidore alumni, and a meaningful message from the SPTA President, Ms. Beth Supan. Before the celebration ended, the School Principal, Dr. Arcelita Gaspar, CHRA, expressed her unwavering commitment to fostering both academic excellence and strong values that shape the culture of Isidore. With a vision prioritizing holistic education, Teacher Archie empowers the teacher-partners to instill important life lessons alongside core subjects. 

Meanwhile, the school administration prepared a delectable lunch for the faculty and staff to share. The School Administrator, Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome, champions every teacher's endeavor to enhance the Isidore community, an environment where educators feel valued and motivated. All together, teachers and administrators alike, cultivate a nurturing space where learners not only excel academically but also grow into responsible, compassionate individuals which truly makes this year’s celebration a happy one! July 27, 2024 — In a significant achievement not only for themselves but also for Isidore, both Dr. Arcelita J. Gaspar and Teacher Princess M. Bernardo, the School Principal and an Administrative Assistant respectively, have recently been awarded as Certified Human Resource Associates (CHRA) by the Human Resource Educators' Association of the Philippines. This marks a notable accomplishment for them as professionals and underscores their dedication to excellence in managing human resources.

Teacher Archie was recognized under Category E, which comprises seasoned People Managers such as Directors, Managers, Supervisors, Department Heads, and Team Leaders. Teacher Archie has once again demonstrated her exceptional ability to lead people and handle complex situations more so since her certification highlights her understanding of the Labor Code and its application in timely and appropriate decision-making processes. In addition to her faith in love and justice, this achievement is a testament to her leadership know-how in navigating the intricacies of school management in leading the faculty and taking care of the young learners entrusted to the school, ensuring that her leadership decisions are both informed and impactful in terms of human resources.

On the other hand, Teacher Princess falls under Category A, which includes graduates or students from specialized fields such as BSBA Human Resource Management, BS/AB Psychology, Guidance & Counseling, Organizational Management, Behavioral Science, Public Administration, Legal Management, and Law/Juris Doctor. Teacher Princess’s certification reflects her reliability and expertise in managing assignments related to employee welfare. Her new qualification will undoubtedly contribute to a more organized and well-looked after work environment, enhancing the admin staff, faculty, and overall staff morale and efficiency.

The CHRA certification entails substantial benefits for the Isidore community because as certified professionals, Teacher Archie and Teacher Princess bring a wealth of knowledge and experience that will positively influence the institution's human resource practices and improve staff relations.

Furthermore, this certification underscores Isidore's commitment to professional development and excellence. Teacher Ann Marie S. Isidore Robotics Program utilizes LEGO Education in partnership with the Philippine Robotics Academy. Isidore launched the integration of the Robotics Learning Program from Kindergarten 2 to Grade 6 in 2023. The program introduced the principles of robotics and programming to Isidoreans at an early age, demystifying complex Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics learning through playing. 

The LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 is offered to Kindergarten 2 to Grade 3 learners to develop and enhance their algorithmic and problem-solving skills. The WeDo 2.0 robotics core set has 280 building pieces that combine LEGO bricks, sensors, motors, and software to design a space rover, tadpole, earthquake simulator, and more exciting guided and open projects for the Isidoreans. The software provides a child-friendly drag-and-drop interface that allows the learners to program their robots and witness the results of their coding in real-time. 

The learning tool for Grades 4 to 6 learners is the LEGO Education Spike Prime Set. The set includes 528 LEGO Technic pieces, partnered by its software which provides unit lessons, building instructions, and a coding platform using the Scratch programming language. The SPIKE Prime contains 7 electronic components: 1 large motor, 2 medium motors, a distance sensor, a force sensor, a color sensor, and the hub with a 6-axis gyro, accelerometer, speaker, microphone, and battery. The diversity and functionality of the set and its software enable learners to create advanced mechanisms, models, and robots.

This program provides myriad possibilities for Isidoreans in building and programming. Using these two comprehensive educational tools—the WeDo 2.0 and SPIKE Prime.

Following Isidore’s 21st Founding Anniversary celebration last December 2023, which is centered in innovation, the school also came up with the initiative to update its website. 

Thus, the Isidore de Seville Integrated School's website has been improved to make it more user-friendly, relevant, and in line with the most recent technological developments, in collaboration with Nexbridge Technologies Inc., a premier software and website development company in the City of Malolos, Bulacan. 

The website revamp was performed with the intention to provide the school’s stakeholders and more potential parties  and partners who visit the  website an enhanced digital experience, as Isidore places a high value on communication and engagement.

Educational institutions play a vital role in empowering today's youth by developing competent and effective learners. Throughout the years, Isidoreans have consistently shown their best effort, exceeding expectations, while embracing gratitude for small and unpredictable moments. Isidore de Seville Integrated School continues to nurture and value learners' talents through fun and engaging art classes, including basic drawing and origami, and music classes under the tutelage of Maestro Nemencio Macapugay. Appealing artworks and musical instruments like ukulele, guitar, and violin are taught meticulously to Isidoreans.

Music is a universal language that everyone speaks. With proper music and art lessons, we can help increase learners’ motivation, leading to better attitude and improved academic performance. 

According to Maestro Nemie, "Kapag nag-aaral ka ng music parehong sides ng brain ‘yung nagpa-function, kaya mas nagiging mahusay ang mga bata academically at nag-iimprove ang kanilang emotional intelligence." 

Parent-partners’ support to their children in learning arts and music is paramount in encouraging the learners to practice their crafts and skills and to continue solidifying their desire to excel. As Isidore and its parent-partners commit to continuously help Isidoreans not just academically, but also socially and emotionally, its enhancement programs will surely enable the learners to flourish in self-awareness, sustain positive relationships, and become their best possible selves.

Isidore de Seville Integrated School is now home to the first and official Philippine Robotics Academy (PRA) in the City of Malolos, Bulacan. PRA is a certified center for robotics excellence in the Philippines.

On March 17, 2023, Ms. Ann Marie S. Bartolome, School Administrator, with Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, School Principal, and Felta's Representative, Ms. Nani Villanueva, signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Felta Multi-Media Inc., the pioneer and leader in Robotics Education in the Philippines. The MOA signing officially makes Isidore de Seville Integrated School the first and only school in the City of Malolos, Bulacan to have a Philippine Robotics Academy.

Isidore began robotics in 2012, but now, with the school's partnership with FELTA, 2023 offers a greater deal of learning opportunities. Robotics integration into the learning program through the LEGO Education solutions from Kinder 2 to Grade 6 can help develop learners' ability to solve problems and provide varied solutions. It will also allow Isidoreans to build and explore, hone their visual communication skills, enhance lifelong learning patterns, improve social interactions, and achieve effective incorporation of knowledge through realistic learning experiences.

Having PRA as the newest addition to Isidore also lays the groundwork for every Isidorean to be a part of the Philippine Robotics Olympiad and FLL Philippines, where learners have the opportunity to be part of the Philippine Robotics National Team and compete in the world's largest and most prestigious robotics competitions.

It's no wonder that children are akin to exploring, playing, and tinkering with intriguing discoveries. Isidore intends to assist learners in channeling their innate curiosity and creativity into something that could lead to their rewarding careers in the future, now even made more possible by having PRA in school.
