The Isidore Robotics Team is proudly waving the Philippine flag high at the 2025 Robotics World Championships being held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. These talented young innovators are composed of Ethan Bryant C. Villegas, the Team Captain, Prince Dion Gale P. Camua, Zamara Louese V. Lapuz, Reese Oona B. Pascual, and Jhaiver Axel L. Paulo. These bright minds are not only representing Isidore de Seville Integrated School but also showcasing Filipino talent on the world stage.
The Isidore Trailblazers is under the guidance of their dedicated coach, Teacher Jocelyn G. Dalusung, and is joined by the School Administrator Teacher Ann Marie S. Bartolome and Isidore Chief Executive Officer Sir Jose Ronello T. Bartolome. Lending their unwavering support are the learners’ proud parents and families who have traveled with them to the United States.
On April 15, 2025, the team successfully completed their registration for the global competition. As part of their cultural experience, they also had the opportunity to visit iconic landmarks in Houston, including the Houston City Hall and Sam Houston Park. On the second day, the team had efficiently set up their designated area at the venue, preparing for their much-anticipated project presentation.
On April 18, 2025, the Isidore Robotics Team confidently presented their innovative robot designed to aid in the preservation of coral reefs, a timely and meaningful project that reflects both environmental advocacy and technical skill.
As the competition results are still being awaited, the Isidore community, along with the entire nation, stands proud of the team’s achievements. Regardless of the outcome, their journey and dedication have already brought honor to the Philippines. Their presence in this prestigious global event is proof of the excellence and potential of Filipino youth in the field of science and technology.
