Gratitude and joy filled Isidore school grounds morning of October 4, 2024, as the Isidore community celebrated Teachers' Day.
The program started with an opening prayer led by Ethan Bryant C. Villegas of Grade 4-Packard, followed by the singing of the National Anthem led by Chloe J. Gaspar of Grade 5-Minsky. The ladies of the ceremony, Teacher Mary Rose Caparas, and SPG Vice President Chaniel Alexa Olaña, acknowledged all the faculty members and staff, then welcomed everyone. To set the mood of the event, the members of the Glee Organization performed the song “You Can Count on Me” with the accompaniment of ukulele played by Chloe J. Gaspar of 5-Minsky. Thereafter, Theater Guild members performed a short musical play about the significance of a teacher’s presence in the lives of children. Meanwhile, some throwback pictures of teachers were revealed prior to playing the gratitude videos of select learners. Teachers were also surprised that they had to also give a response message to the appreciation video. A “Best Educator" sash and a token of appreciation were also awarded to every Isidore educator. Adding excitement to the event is the presentation performed by the Dance Troupe.
On the other hand, the School Parent Teacher Association Officers also expressed their love to their children's parents at school through a heartfelt song number, surprise video greetings from select Isidore alumni, and a meaningful message from the SPTA President, Ms. Beth Supan. Before the celebration ended, the School Principal, Dr. Arcelita Gaspar, CHRA, expressed her unwavering commitment to fostering both academic excellence and strong values that shape the culture of Isidore. With a vision prioritizing holistic education, Teacher Archie empowers the teacher-partners to instill important life lessons alongside core subjects.

Bartolome, champions every teacher's endeavor to enhance the Isidore community, an environment where educators feel valued and motivated. All together, teachers and administrators alike, cultivate a nurturing space where learners not only excel academically but also grow into responsible, compassionate individuals which truly makes this year’s celebration a happy one! Happy Teachers’ Day!
Originally scheduled to be an in-person event, Isidore de Seville Integrated School successfully held a virtual parent orientation today, Friday, July 26, 2024. Despite the challenging weather, it was a remarkable event bringing together very willing parents to welcome the school year 2024-2025.

As part of Isidore de Seville’s preparation for the upcoming school year, faculty members together with Mata ng Caloocan Fire and Rescue Volunteer (MCFRV) in cooperation with iTravel Etours Travel & Tours grasped the mastery of Basic Life Support on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Isidore de Seville Integrated School. The Basic Life Support Seminar is part of the Enhanced In-house Training of the school’s teaching partners.
The training consisted of different preventive measures and emergency procedures that enable immediate response to any probable victims or patients. One of the procedures included cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which can be categorized into two aspects: high-quality CPR and hands-only CPR. According to Fire Chief John Paul Manio, a certified security officer, the latter was safer and more practical amid the drastic exposure to viruses.
Another procedure out of the many is the Heimlich Maneuver, an immediate response to signs of choking in which the course of action depends on the age, gender, and possible medical history of a patient. Thus, the pressure that the responder exerts is to be aligned on a case-to-case basis.
Mr. Manio, with other officers, has made sure that the faculty members are ready to extend any help when the need arises. Hence, a demonstration is conducted to test the faculty members’ ability to remain calm and attentive despite the agitation. Regardless of the pressure felt in the demonstration, the faculty members remained resilient, teaching one another the right procedure to save lives, if not, prevent the loss of more.
The Basic Life Support Training concluded that there is hope as long as someone has learned these basic steps, and as Mr. Manio and the rest of their officers upheld, “Mas okay nang may ginawa, kaysa wala.” The school administration, which was represented by Teacher Princess Bernardo, one of the school’s admin staff, awarded the certificate of appreciation to Mr. Manio for sharing his valuable knowledge on Basic Life Support.

Isidore Robotics Program utilizes LEGO Education in partnership with the Philippine Robotics Academy. Isidore launched the integration of the Robotics Learning Program from Kindergarten 2 to Grade 6 in 2023. The program introduced the principles of robotics and programming to Isidoreans at an early age, demystifying complex Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics learning through playing.
The LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 is offered to Kindergarten 2 to Grade 3 learners to develop and enhance their algorithmic and problem-solving skills. The WeDo 2.0 robotics core set has 280 building pieces that combine LEGO bricks, sensors, motors, and software to design a space rover, tadpole, earthquake simulator, and more exciting guided and open projects for the Isidoreans. The software provides a child-friendly drag-and-drop interface that allows the learners to program their robots and witness the results of their coding in real-time.
The learning tool for Grades 4 to 6 learners is the LEGO Education Spike Prime Set. The set includes 528 LEGO Technic pieces, partnered by its software which provides unit lessons, building instructions, and a coding platform using the Scratch programming language. The SPIKE Prime contains 7 electronic components: 1 large motor, 2 medium motors, a distance sensor, a force sensor, a color sensor, and the hub with a 6-axis gyro, accelerometer, speaker, microphone, and battery. The diversity and functionality of the set and its software enable learners to create advanced mechanisms, models, and robots.
This program provides myriad possibilities for Isidoreans in building and programming. Using these two comprehensive educational tools—the WeDo 2.0 and SPIKE Prime.

Embracing empathy and practicing generosity from an early age are some of the ideals taught at Isidore, which is how the "Charity of Isidoreans Never Stops (COINS)" project came to be.
Because of the kindness of Isidoreans, their family, friends, and relatives, the Isidore community was able to raise ₽72, 255.00, making this year's COINS a success. Each learner supported the good cause of helping others by saving coins in a coin bank made from recycled cans that they decorated. The amount raised was given to the Tahanang Mapagkalinga ni Madre Rita in Rosaryville Subdivision, an orphanage for children in Sta. Cruz Guguinto, Bulacan, and EMMAUS House of Apostolate in San Agustin, City of Malolos, Bulacan, a home for elderly people who have been abandoned. The Supreme Pupil Government representatives, some of the School Parent Teacher Association Board of Director Officers, Grade 6 learners, select faculty and staff, and Isidore administrators went to the mentioned places to give donations to the beneficiaries who gratefully accepted the benefactions.
The COINS project has been opening doors for Isidoreans to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and elders in their foster homes and promote a sense of compassion and charity within the school community. Ultimately, a learner’s coin bank can go a long way.
Isidore has always been committed to providing Isidoreans with opportunities to learn through hands-on experiences. One of the initiatives the school does to allow learners to also maximize learning outside of the regular classroom setting is organizing educational trips. The pandemic has caused field trips and other activities to be discontinued. Thankfully, Isidore held its Educational Field Trip on January 24, 2024, following a four-year hiatus.
Isidoreans, parent-partners, teaching partners, and tour guides assembled at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center at 4:00 a.m. and left at 5:00 a.m. for the much anticipated trip. The participants relished a walking tour through Intramuros. Taking a tour of this historical place helped participants gain a deeper knowledge of the cultures and historical events that shape Filipino identity. On the other hand, to let the learners develop an appreciation for music and theater arts, they watched an entertaining musical play by the Repertory Philippines Theater for Young Audiences’ Snow White and the Prince. Additionally, the young tourists’ capacity to traverse unfamiliar surroundings, collaborate in groups, and effectively engage with peers and adults was enhanced by free time spent at the Venice Grand Piazza Mall, a place known for its fine architecture and replica of the Grand Canal in Italy. Another venue they visited was the Mind Museum, which encouraged Isidoreans to develop an interest in learning about various scientific ideas and seeing those concepts come to life through exquisite exhibits.
All participating learners, parent-partners, and school staff certainly had a memorable and enriching experience in this educational field trip, a “comeback” that is real, an experience so surreal.
Following Isidore’s 21st Founding Anniversary celebration last December 2023, which is centered in innovation, the school also came up with the initiative to update its website.
Thus, the Isidore de Seville Integrated School's website has been improved to make it more user-friendly, relevant, and in line with the most recent technological developments, in collaboration with Nexbridge Technologies Inc., a premier software and website development company in the City of Malolos, Bulacan.
The website revamp was performed with the intention to provide the school’s stakeholders and more potential parties and partners who visit the website an enhanced digital experience, as Isidore places a high value on communication and engagement.

Unleashing abilities, introducing the roles of the leaders, and captivating the passion of young Isidoreans were the main objectives of the event. The leadership training seminar with the theme "Leadership @ Isidore” was conducted on Saturday, October 21, 2023. The training session began with a prayer, followed by the singing of the national anthem led by the selected learners. The presence of all grade levels, organizations, and club leaders is warmly welcomed and appreciated. "Dine In and Take Out” is the first activity for that day, spearheaded by T. Dreamy C. Payumo. The activity highlights all participants' time, effort, and involvement, as well as the learnings and abilities they gained at the end of the session.
To achieve the objectives of the leadership training seminar, T. Arcelita J. Gaspar offered her time and effort to share her knowledge, skills, and expertise as one of the leaders in Isidore. T. Archie talked about “Roles and Responsibilities in One’s Life." She used the well-known characters in the SpongeBob SquarePants as the illustration of her discussion.
Numbers make the learners feel exhausted, but the “Numbers Game,” led by T. Mikaellah B. Abunto allows them to form numbers in a fun way while testing their communication skills, teamwork, and trust. "Human Bingo '' is one of the exciting and fun activities during the training seminar facilitated by. T. Mary Rose D.J. Caraparas. It becomes a tremendous chance to learn about the values and characteristics of our young leaders while having fun. Critical thinking and decision-making skills are the main goals of the “Survival Skills” activity. T. Jocelyn Dalusung scrutinizes the critical thinking and decision-making skills of each participant by giving them a situation. Trust is an important ingredient in a successful team. To exhibit the trust of all the participants, “Back to Back Drawing” is fitted on it. T. Mary Nicole Ann Matic executed the last activity.
During the processing and sharing, Isidoreans are very eager to share their new learning and the values that they have unleashed. Their experiences, words of encouragement, and enjoyment can light up their passion and skills in leadership.
Educational institutions play a vital role in empowering today's youth by developing competent and effective learners. Throughout the years, Isidoreans have consistently shown their best effort, exceeding expectations, while embracing gratitude for small and unpredictable moments. Isidore de Seville Integrated School continues to nurture and value learners' talents through fun and engaging art classes, including basic drawing and origami, and music classes under the tutelage of Maestro Nemencio Macapugay. Appealing artworks and musical instruments like ukulele, guitar, and violin are taught meticulously to Isidoreans.
Music is a universal language that everyone speaks. With proper music and art lessons, we can help increase learners’ motivation, leading to better attitude and improved academic performance.
According to Maestro Nemie, "Kapag nag-aaral ka ng music parehong sides ng brain ‘yung nagpa-function, kaya mas nagiging mahusay ang mga bata academically at nag-iimprove ang kanilang emotional intelligence."
Parent-partners’ support to their children in learning arts and music is paramount in encouraging the learners to practice their crafts and skills and to continue solidifying their desire to excel. As Isidore and its parent-partners commit to continuously help Isidoreans not just academically, but also socially and emotionally, its enhancement programs will surely enable the learners to flourish in self-awareness, sustain positive relationships, and become their best possible selves.
The celebration of Isidore’s foundation is one of the school’s most anticipated events. Under the supervision of our teaching partners, learners from Grades 4 to 6 assisted in setting up fun and engaging booths for Isidore’s 21st Foundation Day. Isidoreans spent a day full of treasured memories on December 15, 2023, as they participated in various booths and shared moments with their classmates and schoolmates.
On the other hand, to make their last year at Isidore even more special, the Grade 6 learners were assigned to oversee the booths.
The Sweets Corner provides the learners with sweet treats, allowing them to choose their favorite dessert covered with chocolate syrup. The Happy Tummy booth is another delicious spot where learners can order chocolate drinks, waffles, mini donuts, and sweet corn. Ice cream aficionados would have appreciated the ice cream corner as well. Booths like Basketball Pong, Airplane Toss, Treasure Hunt, and Buzz Off are stalls where learners can play games and earn points. Also, the Isidore PTA Officers set up the Roll a Can for Prizes Booth where every learner who played received a prize. At the photobooth, the learners’ shared smiles and laughter were captured. As a memento, they also got a copy of their photos.
Isidoreans also jived, danced, and sang along to every song that was played at the Song Request Booth. When the event was over, the learners used the points they had accrued from each game booth to redeem their prize.
Alumni from Isidore also took part in the foundation day celebration, reflecting the fun that this event offers.
Isidore will keep having fun and be innovative for many more years to come. Isidore @ 21: Continuing the Journey With Innovation and Fun.
December 11, 2023, Monday is a momentous day as Isidoreans and their family members gathered as one at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center (MSCC) to celebrate Isidore @ 21: Continuing the Journey With Innovation and Fun.
Before the event, Isidoreans, through the guidance of their advisers and the support of their parents, rehearsed for their dancercise. Our learners showcased their skills and talents through awe-inspiring field demonstrations grooving in the dance music hits from 2020 up to the present.
After the energizing performances of the learners, families were invited to join the center stage with the teaching partners to take part in the Family Zumba to the tune of TikTok Hits.
The family day team colors for this year are Sunkist, Apple Green, Light Violet, Sky Blue, Magenta, and Light Gold. Together with their designated team leaders from the teaching partners, each team color performed their chants. Fun games that encourage teamwork and the sharing of strategies amongst Isidoreans and their families, such as Pass the Ball, Ready Spaghetti, Mary Went to Market, Stack Attack, Shoot the Ball, Magic Carpet, Ball Balancing Race, and Flick the Calamansi, also pique the interest of the participants.
As an intermission number, select Isidoreans who took part in the Malolos City Private Schools Association (MACIPRISA) Meet 2023 Cultural Events presented their winning performances. Additionally, the Isidore Dance Troupe gave a fantastic dance performance.
With a total score of 125 points, Team Apple Green emerged in third place, followed by Team Light Gold in second place with a total score of 135 points, and Team Sunkist in first place with a total score of 140 points.
Isidore has always been dedicated to creating programs and events for Isidoreans and their families in line with the idea of unity and togetherness.
Teaching and non-teaching partners as well as Isidoreans attended the Teachers' Day event at Isidore on Thursday, October 5, 2023. The Supreme Pupil Government Officers, under the direction of their advisor, Sir Adrian R. Fuertes, arranged a program to kick off the celebration.
To entertain the audience, members of various organizations in the school showcased their talents. A brief stage play illustrating how a teacher's instilled knowledge may take root in learners' hearts and blossom into a multitude of opportunities as they pursue success in their chosen fields was presented by actors and actresses from the Isidore Theater Guild. The Dance Troupe members also gave a dance performance as a way of thanking the teachers for their unwavering support. Following the dance performance, members of the Speech Club performed a speech choir to express their gratitude to their teachers. A standout feature of the program is the personalized message that select learners write to each teacher.
The crowd's heartfelt rendition of "You are the Reason," with special emphasis on the chorus "It was you, you are the reason I'm here today. I followed my heart just like you. You changed my life and I want to say, my world is much brighter with you," is the perfect way to cap off the program.
That day, the regard of the School Parent Teacher Association was also felt and displayed. Moreover, the teaching and non-teaching partners were also treated to a sumptuous lunch provided by the administration.
Indeed, it's great to celebrate Teachers' Day the Isidore way!
Following the conclusion of the Student Pupil Government (SPG) elections on Friday, September 22, 2023, a new generation of Isidorean leaders was chosen. Before the election, candidates from the Progressive Party and the Dynamic Party ran a three-day campaign to introduce themselves to Isidoreans, share their platforms, and highlight their leadership potential. They were aided in this endeavor by their advisers, Teacher Erika Reyes and Sir Ronald Valencia. Class advisers from every grade level led the actual voting process on election day. Following the casting of all votes, Sir Adrian Fuertes and the faculty members completed the vote tallying.
The Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) Election victors were declared on Monday, September 25, 2023, during the Flag Ceremony. The school principal, Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, the teachers, and the in-attendance Isidoreans invited the chosen SPG Officers for the 2023–2024 school year forward and congratulated them.
Here's the list of the SPG Officers for SY 2023-2024:
President: Tan, Daphne Angelyn L.
Vice President: Lorenzo, Zoe Hikari
Secretary: Olana, Chaniel Alexah L.
Historian: Gonzales, Sabrina Angela
Isidoreans' involvement in the election of the new set of school leaders provided them with an additional chance to influence their learning settings, acquire useful leadership experience, and enhance the school community. Way to go Isidoreans and SPG champs!
Creative Isidoreans impressively completed their arts and music classes which call for a celebration of the harmonious culmination of arts and music. After the fun and engaging Arts and Music classes facilitated by Sir Nemencio Macapugay, the Isidore artists and musicians showcased their works and performances at the Arts and Music Class Culminating Day on July 10, 2023, Monday at Isidore de Seville Integrated School.
The Isidore artists take center stage to display their picturesque activities. The room was transformed into a gallery filled with eye-catching artworks representing a range of colors and forms. Throughout the process of accomplishing their masterpieces, learners were allowed to improve their skills and develop their love for the arts.
On the other hand, Isidore musicians illuminate the stage with the rich diversity of the sound each string instrument can produce. The ukulele, guitar, and violin are among the instruments they played, which amplified moments of joy to the audience in the venue.
It's important to remember the beauty of music and the arts in a world that frequently seems to be centered on gadgets and the internet. The Music and Arts Class was introduced because Isidore understands the importance of creative expression for our Isidoreans, as young as they are.
Graduation isn't the end; it's the start of something new, a chance to explore unexplored territory, keep growing and learning, and create a future that's both individually and socially meaningful. Congratulations, Isidore Graduates Batch 2022-2023! Once and Isidorean, always an Isidorean!
Isidore de Seville Integrated School is now home to the first and official Philippine Robotics Academy (PRA) in the City of Malolos, Bulacan. PRA is a certified center for robotics excellence in the Philippines.
On March 17, 2023, Ms. Ann Marie S. Bartolome, School Administrator, with Teacher Arcelita J. Gaspar, School Principal, and Felta's Representative, Ms. Nani Villanueva, signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Felta Multi-Media Inc., the pioneer and leader in Robotics Education in the Philippines. The MOA signing officially makes Isidore de Seville Integrated School the first and only school in the City of Malolos, Bulacan to have a Philippine Robotics Academy.
Isidore began robotics in 2012, but now, with the school's partnership with FELTA, 2023 offers a greater deal of learning opportunities. Robotics integration into the learning program through the LEGO Education solutions from Kinder 2 to Grade 6 can help develop learners' ability to solve problems and provide varied solutions. It will also allow Isidoreans to build and explore, hone their visual communication skills, enhance lifelong learning patterns, improve social interactions, and achieve effective incorporation of knowledge through realistic learning experiences.
Having PRA as the newest addition to Isidore also lays the groundwork for every Isidorean to be a part of the Philippine Robotics Olympiad and FLL Philippines, where learners have the opportunity to be part of the Philippine Robotics National Team and compete in the world's largest and most prestigious robotics competitions.
It's no wonder that children are akin to exploring, playing, and tinkering with intriguing discoveries. Isidore intends to assist learners in channeling their innate curiosity and creativity into something that could lead to their rewarding careers in the future, now even made more possible by having PRA in school.
As a basic education institution, Isidore has always been committed to delivering a learner-centered, performance-based, and progressive education.
Isidore de Seville is a basic education institution dedicated to producing learners with integrity, honor, and excellence, equipped with ICT-enhanced skills and values which will empower them to actively and positively contribute to the changing world.
