It is the fervent desire of every parent to be able to provide the best of everything for his child. This includes giving the child the best education.
This is the very same desire which drove the spouses Ann and Bart to establish an educational institution. After attempting to find apposite schools around the City of Malolos, the quality education that they wish to provide for their children seemed elusive.
With certainty on their goal, the couple sought the help of Mr. Rogelio Sta.Ana Sr., Ann’s father, to realize their objective of providing a facility for children to achieve a better academic experience. One of their construction supply stores was turned into a two-storey building designed for a school environment. It was also fortunate that during that period, Bart, being a tertiary level educator, had been involved in academic programs development under the STI Educational Services Group. It was their basic education program which fits right into the vision. Armed with this vision and the able help of an entire family, a partnership with STI was established and the team embarked in the whole preparation.
It was in December 20, 2002 when the franchise for STI Prep School was released. The doors of STI Prep School opened in February 23, 2003 at No. 18 A. Mabini St., Mojon, Malolos, Bulacan as its office accommodated interested clients.
In March 10, 2003, the Government Permit to offer Pre-Elementary Course by the Department of Education was granted. The inauguration by STI Headquarters in April 4, 2003 followed immediately.
As the administrators strive to harness the maximum potentials of every pupil, it started operations in Summer of 2003, offering the STI Creative Summer Program. The regular classes started in School Year 2003-2004 with 28 students, 3 teachers and 3 staff.
To continuously nurture the adeptness of the pupils’ knowledge, talents, skills and values, a more apt name was envisioned. STI Prep School was changed to STI Academy Malolos in September 22, 2003. Eventually, STI Academy Malolos was granted Government Permit to offer Pre-Elementary Course and Elementary Course (Grades 1-2) by the Department of Education in December 3, 2003.
STI Academy started offering Grades 1-2 in School Year 2004-2005. Classes were conducted as STI Academy admitted 13 students who were molded through an ICT-enhanced learning curriculum. The curriculum basically claims that technology has become an inevitable component of learning and should always be an integral part of education.
Tempus fugit, STI Academy was granted Government Recognition for the Pre-Elementary Course by the Department of Education in December 2, 2004. The enrollment grew rapidly as the average class increased considerably.
On the other hand, the Government Recognition for the Elementary Course (Grades 1-6) by the Department of Education was granted in July 5, 2007.
As STI believes that technological literacy is important, and therefore, should be provided to the future leaders of our country, the pupils and students of STI Academy’s learning was integrated with centralized preparation of curriculum and courseware from STI Headquarters. Alas, the first Grade School batch graduated in March 2009 with 5 very able graduates.
In 2011, the STI Educational Services Group announced that although it has been instrumental in the development of new ways and methods to provide basic education programs, it has decided to focus more on their tertiary and vocational courses. With this development, STI Academy Malolos’ partnership with STI ESG officially ceased in March 2012.
The school faced a great challenge coming off from the cessation of the franchise. One thing was sure in the minds of the administrators though, the school will persevere and continue to operate. A new speedway has to be traversed, as STI Academy changed its name to Isidore de Seville Integrated School December 2011.
From then on, until now, Isidore de Seville continuously upholds quality education based on the significance of values and ethical practices and knowledge and truth through ICT-enhanced learning programs that will develop each pupil/student to be an asset of the nation. With a current population of 275, and with the best in class faculty and staff, Isidore opens an exciting chapter in its existence and you are part of this great adventure.
