Isidore de Seville Integrated School has always believed in the power of ICT-enhanced education to shape the mind and character of every child, and prepare them for the future. This is where it all began.
Isidore of Seville is known to be one of the greatest teachers of Spain, and was monumental
in making it a center of culture and learning during his years.
Born in Cartagena, Spain to a family that included three other saints, Isidore discovered his love for learning quite
early on with the guidance and education from his elder brother, whom he later succeeded as bishop of Seville.
With a vision to unite religion and learning, Isidore established schools that taught language, liberal arts, philosophy,
law and medicine, history, and theology. He also persuaded all bishops to establish seminaries in cathedral cities,
making education an obligation.
An amazing scholar and theologian, he was sometimes referred to as “The Schoolmaster of the Middle Ages” because of his
great love and dedication to learning. Isidore wrote Etymologia, a twenty-book encyclopedia that was used as a textbook
for nine centuries, and produced numerous works on world history, astronomy, geography, biographies, law and theology,
and histories of various cultures and people.
In 1997, Pope John Paul II chose Saint Isidore of Seville, Doctor of the Church and Last of the Latin Fathers as the
Patron Saint of the Internet.
For all these reasons and more, the Board of Directors have chosen Saint Isidore de Seville to represent the school for
the values and standards they stand for. The board focused on the great contributions to society that Isidore has achieved,
and considered his humanity to serve as the guiding light for the Isidore Community.
Without diminishing his title as a Saint, and to point out that Isidore as a school and community caters to all faiths or religions,
the Board of Directors have chosen to drop the salutation.

It is the fervent desire of every parent to be able to provide the best of everything for their child. This includes
giving the child the best possible education.
This is the very same desire that drove spouses Ann and Bart to establish an educational institution focused on providing children with quality
education and a better academic experience. Passionate and goal-driven, the couple sought the help of Ann’s father, Rogelio Sr., to bring their
vision to reality. One of their construction supply stores was turned into a two-storey building designed for a conducive learning environment
towards the formative years of children.
Fortunately, during this period, Bart, being a tertiary level educator, had been involved in various academic programs development under the
STI Educational Services Group. One of their philosophies included technology as an inevitable component of learning and an integral part of
education. It was their basic education program that fits perfectly into the spouses’ goals. Armed with a vision, a passion for education,
and the support of an entire family, a partnership with STI was established and the preparations soon began.
On December 20, 2002, the franchise for STI Prep School was released. The doors of STI Prep School opened two months later on February 23, 2003,
and the first school year began in the Summer of 2003 with 28 students, 3 teachers, and 3 staff members.
To continuously nurture the proficiency of the students’ knowledge, skills, talents, and values with an ICT-enriched curriculum, the school eventually
catered to students up to Grades 1-2 and changed its name to STI Academy Malolos in its second year of operations. 3 years later, in 2007,
the school was able to open its doors to the full pre-elementary and elementary courses from Preschool to Grade 6.
In 2011, the STI Educational Services Group announced that it has decided to focus more on their tertiary and vocational courses. With this development,
STI Academy Malolos’ partnership with STI ESG officially ended in March 2012.
The school faced a great challenge coming off of the cessation of the franchise. The board and the administrators, however, ultimately decided that the
school will persevere and continue to operate. With the same vision and passion for education, STI Academy Malolos changed its name to Isidore
de Seville Integrated School in December 2011, ready to continue to shape and teach the future generation.
Until now, Isidore de Seville continues to uphold quality education based on the significance of values, practices, knowledge, and truth through
ICT-enhanced learning programs that will develop each learner to be an asset to the nation.
