Isidoreans Choose Their SELG Leaders for SY 2026-2027

The spirit of leadership and unity came alive at Isidore de Seville Integrated School as Grade 1 to Grade 6 learners cast their votes in the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) Elections held on June 18, 2026.

The day began with a mass campaign featuring candidates from two party-lists. The Dynamic Learners Partylist (DLP), supervised by Teacher Trisha Ignacio, introduced its candidates: Zamara Louese V. Lapuz for President, Chris Ryan B. Chua for Vice President, Euclid Jasiel D. Trinidad for Secretary, and Jhaiver Axel D. Paulo for Historian.

Representing the Progressive Learner Partylist (PLP), under the supervision of Teacher Angelica Almerol, were Marquin David G. Cortez for President, Elijah Mari B. Pascual for Vice President, Mathea Allexa D. Enriquez for Secretary, and Ethan Bryant C. Villegas for Historian.

Before the voting process, candidates confidently shared their platforms and visions for the learners.

Following the voting period, the sealed ballots were opened and counted before the learners, demonstrating fairness, transparency, and integrity in the electoral process. After the final tally, the following learners were announced as the duly elected SELG officers for SY 2026-2027:

President: Zamara Louese V. Lapuz
Vice President: Elijah Mari B. Pascual
Secretary: Mathea Allexa D. Enriquez
Historian: Ethan Bryant C. Villegas

In her message, Dr. Arcelita J. Gaspar, School Principal, congratulated all candidates for their courage and willingness to lead. She emphasized that every participant was a winner because each one stepped forward to serve and represented themselves well before the entire Isidore community.

Dr. Gaspar also reminded learners that discipline remains one of the defining qualities of an Isidorean.

The success of the election was made possible through the dedicated leadership of Teacher Cristy Rose Umali, SELG Adviser, who guided the advisers and learners throughout the entire process.

The SELG Elections served as more than just a selection of officers; it was a valuable learning experience that allowed young Isidoreans to practice democratic values, responsible decision-making, and servant leadership. With a new set of leaders ready to serve, the school community looks forward to a productive and meaningful school year ahead.
