The first and only Philippine Robotics Academy School in Malolos

Laughter, creativity, friendly competition, and shared experiences filled the school as Isidoreans from Preschool to Grade 6 gathered on September 16 and 17 for the Term 1 End-of-Term (EOT) Activities.

The two-day celebration brought together three meaningful themes: Nutrilit, a combination of Buwan ng Wika and Nutrition Week; MathSciTech, combining Mathematics, Science, and ICT Week; and Courage and Calmness in Times of Danger, integrating Values and Community Helpers Week.

The celebration opened at the 2nd Floor Function Hall, with Zamara Louese Lapuz, SELG President, leading the invocation and Elijah Marie Pascual, SELG Vice President, leading the National Anthem. Ms. Marjorie P. Fajardo, Head Teacher, delivered the introductory remarks, while Dr. Arcelita J. Gaspar, School Principal, reminded the learners that education is not only about being academically and cognitively smart, but also about developing qualities that help them become well-rounded individuals. Teacher Merlyn Marie Villanueva, Learner Activity Coordinator, then presented the activities prepared for the celebration.

The learners eagerly participated in various games and activities held in their respective classrooms, where they enjoyed learning, playing, creating, and bonding with their classmates. Each classroom became a lively space for fun and discovery as teachers prepared age-appropriate activities that allowed learners to showcase their creativity, knowledge, teamwork, and talents.

Among the highlights was the offering of flowers to Mama Mary and the praying of the Holy Rosary led by Teacher Princess Bernardo. Learners also enjoyed traditional Kakaning Pinoy, such as suman, bibingka, and kutsinta, reveling in Filipino culture while appreciating the importance of nutrition.

The learners also had the chance to listen to stories with moral lessons presented by "Lola Basyang".

The Intermediate learners showcased their confidence and talent in the Balagtasan Contest, where Grade 6-Babbage was hailed as the champion. Teacher Archie commended the learners for the talents they showcased during the competition, even reciting an impromptu Balagtasan piece.

On the second day, learners explored their creativity through coin bank-making and enjoyed educational games using the Interactive Board at the Robotics Laboratory. Together with the various classroom activities, these experiences brought Mathematics, Science, ICT, values, culture, and practical life lessons to life in engaging ways.

More than an end-of-term activity, the EOT celebration gave Isidoreans a chance to pause from their academic routines, enjoy time with their schoolmates, discover their talents, and create happy memories. As they headed into their wellness break, the learners carried with them the joy of learning and friendship.

Every day at Isidore de Seville Integrated School, one sound has become familiar in Teacher Archie’s office: a knock on the door.

Sometimes, it is a teacher seeking guidance, a staff member bringing forward a concern, or a learner looking for encouragement. At other times, it is simply someone who needs a listening ear, a safe space to share, and someone who will take the time to understand.

Yet on June 14, 2026, Dr. Arcelita J. Gaspar was the one who stepped toward a different door.
She entered the examination room at New Era University School of Management in Quezon City to take the Career Executive Service Written Examination (CESWE), charting a bold new chapter in her professional growth. And with dedication and perseverance, she successfully passed the written examination. This is a significant first stage in the Career Executive Service eligibility process.

Preparing for such an examination while carrying many responsibilities requires commitment, discipline, and perseverance. Above all, it requires faith in God, the greatest source of strength and guidance our principal possesses.

That is why her achievement resonates beyond the examination itself. The results of the examination is also a moment of pride for the entire Isidore community.

From the countless knocks on her office door to the quiet hours of preparation for the CESWE, Teacher Archie continues to open doors for others while having the courage to walk through new ones herself.

Protecting a child requires the shared commitment of the school, family, learners, and community. Guided by this belief, Isidore de Seville Integrated School convened its Child Protection Committee for SY 2026-2027 on September 11, 2026, to strengthen the school’s policies and procedures for ensuring the safety and well-being of every Isidorean.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Ann Marie S. Bartolome, School Administrator; Dr. Arcelita J. Gaspar, School Principal; Ms. Marie Rose Villano, Guidance Coordinator; Ms. Jonalyn Trinidad, SPTA President; Teacher Patricia Coleen Cortez, SPTA Secretary; Zamara Louese V. Lapuz, SELG President; and Ms. Lulu Enriquez, Administrative Staff of Barangay Mojon.

Central to the discussion were the principles that guide the Child Protection Committee. The participants emphasized that every learner deserves to study in an environment where they feel safe, respected, accepted, and free from fear. They also recognized that protecting children is a collective responsibility that calls for attentiveness, compassion, confidentiality, and immediate action when concerns arise.

The committee reviewed the proper protocol for reporting incidents. Having a clear reporting process ensures that every concern is documented, handled promptly and sensitively, and referred to the appropriate persons. It also allows the school to provide necessary guidance and support while protecting the rights and dignity of everyone involved.

Isidore strongly reaffirmed that corporal punishment has no place in the school. Any form of discipline that causes pain, fear, humiliation, or emotional harm is contrary to the school’s child-centered values. Instead, Isidore promotes positive discipline that helps learners understand the consequences of their actions, correct their behavior, and develop responsibility and self-control.

To ensure an organized and effective response to child-protection concerns, the members and specific roles of the Child Protection Committee were also discussed. Each member contributes a valuable perspective. With the school, families, learners, and Barangay Mojon working hand in hand, Isidore continues to build a community where children are protected, their voices are heard, and their dignity is always upheld.
